Lanolin based anti corrosion lubricant
Big fan of this stuff. Lasts a long time after application providing anti corrosion protection for months. Also good for loosening seized bolts and screws. Unpleasant odor out of the can but it dissipates pretty quickly. Low VOC and low toxicity overall compared to other brands

Excellent Rust Protection for Jeeps & Winter Driving
Fluid Film has become one of my go-to products for protecting my Jeep Wrangler from rust and corrosion. I use it regularly on the undercarriage, skid plates, suspension components, hinges, and other exposed metal parts, especially before winter and after off-road trips. Living with road salt, mud, water crossings, and trail debris can really take a toll on a Jeep, and this product helps create a protective barrier that actually lasts. The aerosol can makes it easy to spray into hard-to-reach areas, and it applies evenly without a complicated setup. I also appreciate that it creeps into seams and tight spaces where rust likes to start. It has helped slow down corrosion on older components and keeps newer parts looking much better over time. Unlike some products, it doesnโt dry out and crack quickly. Iโve used it after washing my Jeep and before winter storage with great results. If you own a Jeep, truck, trailer, or any vehicle exposed to harsh weather, this is definitely worth keeping on hand.

good goop
This goop removes a lot of rusts, and protects the metal underneath. It sprays easily, and the lanolin scent is pleasant, as opposed to other products I have used for rust protection.

Been a year and no rust on underside of mower deck yet
After decades of losing mowers to rotted out decks, I decided enough was enough. Now after each mow I tip the mower on its side and hose down the underside of the deck removing grass and mud, blow it dry with my leaf blower I use for the clippings on the driveway. Then I spray with this stuff. The underside of my deck is bare metal (the paint flaked off itself) and I don't see a single speck of rust on the deck or the blade or any hardware. The mower is stored outside under a cover in the humidity of South Florida. I'm impressed so far. I probably spray on more than I need to, seems like I go through a can every 6 months.

A must for Salt Water Exposure
I own a pontoon boat, that I bought about a year ago. The boat and trailer were both 'fixer uppers' although I got a great price on the package. So, I 'refurbished' the trailer recently, as the leaf springs and bolts were all very rusted. Most of it was still fine structurally (but a few nuts had rusted right off) but it was so locked up I had to cut everything off. A co-worker (a senior machinist, who has never steered me wrong) recommend I try this product to treat all the new metal hardware (leaf springs, equalizers, and bolts), as he had some experience with it before. Apparently they had used it as a corrosion preventive on some mild steel metal tubes that were being stored for a while, until they were to be used to cast wax-like material into. However, before they cast the wax into these, they needed to line them with a tar-like substance. However, no matter how much they cleaned the tubes, nor how many nasty chemicals they tried (acetone, and otherwise) to clean it, the tar wouldn't stick to the tubes. In the end, they had to put the tube onto a lathe, and shave a few thousandths of material off. Finally, it stuck. Further, a friend of his has run a non-air conditioned machine shop here in the Florida pan handle, and has had the same piece of mild steel hanging from his ceiling (that was coated with this product nearly 2 decades ago, or so I'm told) and there is STILL no rust on it. So, I coated all my new leaf springs and bolts and nuts with this, and can't find a bit of rust yet. I haven't had it in and out of the water much, but my initial impression is that so long as I keep it coated, then I'll never have to worry about my springs again. Further, I've used a VERY light coating on the undercowl of my newly rebuilt '94 mariner 60 hp. They didn't really make mercs for salt water at that time (motor was freshwater until I got it) so I'm trying to ensure that I get plenty of years out of it (also by flushing it with salt-away every time I use it). Buy with confidence, and I agree - it smells but is much easier and less messy (well, sort of) to apply than never seez ******UPDATE*******4 Sep 2012 I've continued to apply this product regularly to any and all rust-susceptible parts of my boat. The only parts of my trailer suspension that I see getting rust, and the spots that I missed with the Fluid Film. I rapidly ground them back down, and reapplied. Using this product is a MUST on lug nuts and wheel studs on trailers; even with galvanized or stainless bolts, if you don't use something like this to prevent everything rusting, you will be spending a lot of time with PB blaster and otherwise trying to break your lug nuts free (I just did this past weekend)

A+
Great for touch-ups between applications and for small jobs. Fluid Film is not a permanent coating and will need regular treatments. It seals out water without sealing it in causing more rust like traditional undercoating. I was replacing my battery and noticed rust forming on the brake lines that run underneath the battery tray. This will help keep the rust at bay until I get around to replacing them. I use it on the bottom of all my vehicles to keep as much salt off of them in the winter.

Little and not often.
this is an extremely effective system, being lanolin based its film is very robust albeit with a distinctive odor. I have a lot of equipment that needs protection and all the machines that I have used it on so far are looking so much better than ones that have been treated with the other available solutions, ( CRC, WD40, WURTH et al ). The high price is not really an issue as you really only need a little and it definitely lasts a lot longer than the other films on the market.

Highly recommend
Seems to be really good stuff. First time using it and I'm very impressed with it. It's a bit stinky as others have said. Who cares its not for eating.
