This glue is amazing

I have very oily skin and I was hoping this would work for me. It’s meh. I have to remove the glue and reapply my wig daily. Literally daily. I have yet to find one that last for days. I will add, every glue I’ve tried has been this way and this one is probably the best out of those but it still doesn’t stick for multiple days or even one night unless I do absolutely nothing but breathe. It has a strong hold at first. Sometimes it feels like my skin is pulling, but by morning it needs reapplied. If you have oily skin and an active adult life with your husband/partner, this won’t last the night. My husband almost snatched it off by barely touching my head one night … I was so embarrassed. Purely from sweat and the glue not sticking anymore. No one wants to hold their wig on while trying to look hot lol. I had to. Multiple times. It was about to slip right off when i wanted to look my hottest. No bueno. Exposing your bald cap while in that moment is soul crushing. If you don’t sweat a lot from the cardio of your choice and don’t have oily skin, it will probably be amazing for you.

I was a huge G2BG fan. Yes, the one in the yellow tube that claims to be "water resistant".. It may "resist" water? But that's like saying I can "resist" chocolate. It sounds great, but when it comes down to me and the chocolate - the chocolate wins. Well, something prompted me to make a change, and quick. An old dandy of a man, walked up to me while i was grocery shopping. It was hotter than seven hells outside, and i had just finished working out. As we were talking i casually tugged the wig hair from my face, and the old ear flap popped up. The old guy, paused in mid conversation, said: "Well, good bye, hon.." And ran off with his walker like he was in a drag race. I pressed and held that flap down, but vowed to myself, i need to do better. The humidity in Chicago, is nothing to mess around with. And G2BG wasn't meant for these types of conditions. I bought the GhostBond XL, and i will tell you there is an incredible difference when you place your lace on it. The hold feels far more superior, and i felt a lot more confident in the wind, humidity, sweat even my workout.. Usually, when i would have conversations with people, or with friends, they noticed i would do this casual "tap" on my forehead. It was because with G2BG, the lace at the very top of my forehead would curl back. And there would be this tiny flap of lace just sitting out there which would need occasional "pressing down" when i would begin to perspire. Not with Ghost Bond. Once you're lace is pressed? It stays that way, at least for several hours before you need to just tap it, and keep going. This is just a one-layer application. The Removal of Ghost Bond is a huge pain, though. I used the Citrus 22, solvent, and kept getting these "gummy balls" all over the place. I went through several applications of the C-22, alcohol, shampoo and water, And castor oil, with several face washings to ensure the residue was off of my face as well. So.. This is what i've learned to do. G2BG is great if you want an easy removal. Thus I use this as the first and ONLY layer of glue for the lace. And i use one small dab of Ghost Bond in the weak areas. One tiny dab on top of the forehead, and dab each on the ear flaps. I did a work out, as well as went out with friends, etc. And that wig stayed put. When it's time for removal, i don't have to deal with an entire layer of Ghost Bond. Just the areas where i had to dab it. It's still a hassle? But a heck of a lot LESS of a hassle. Another tip? Don't forget to wear your WIGRIP. This will cover/protect your edges, and place the glue in FRONT of the hair line.. Not on it..

I thought this product was perfect I saw so many people using it I know things can create allergies however having a chemical burn from using a product that was apply correctly by certified stylist was not something that I expected to experience. We initially thought perhaps it was a fluke and did everything even use the more protective barrier and within a couple of hours the burn was so horrible it had to be removed before I got an additional chemical burn that left a scar where my wig was placed. I have been left with five scars that I am not sure will ever fade where they're not recognizable. The burning was so horrific that I felt like someone was pouring acid into my skin. And initially you think maybe that you're wrap to lay it down is maybe too tight and maybe that's what's causing the discomfort at first. But when it was removed and it's still a burnt and I finally lifted up the area with adhesive remover the damage was so extensive. Currently I am wearing wigs with no adhesive to cover these burn marks. Again I know allergy testing is important and typically this product causing any type of reaction like this so I was so shocked and surprised. The fact that a lot wasn't even used was very devastating and dramatic to me. I don't know what others have experienced. But I do want people to know that yes you can do an allergy test I'm not allergic to things I don't have allergies to chemicals to things that would have a reaction like that on me I've never experienced that. Doesn't mean you can't I do understand that, but this just felt like nothing I've ever felt like before. And the fact that I can't even show my real hair or wear wig that's not covering these marks on my head just has left me devastated so I just want to inform and make people aware that you can do an allergy test something may have never bothered you before but when you apply this stuff be mindful if you feel like something's tingling or you feel like your rap is too tight as you're laying your hair check it make sure you're not being burnt because it feels like acid burning through your skin. I bought this product twice and I actually gave it to someone else and I used it once and again my stylus tried one more time with a very small amount, and for me it was the worst experience I've ever had. It worked great for her but like I said not ever hearing anything bad about this Bond or that it could do anything like that to your skin needs to be known. I'm using talk to text so if any of that got crazy I apologize but I just want to inform every woman out there man just be mindful be careful if you feel anything remove this stuff immediately do not be like me. And by the way these scars manifested and less than 5 hours. On the second attempt it was within an hour so that scar is not as bad as the others. Just to concern consumer but also wanting to educate about a product that could be great for so many people but could potentially be detrimental and scarring for others. Please make a warning label to include this so that people are not scarred by your product. Thank you

Bond works great! The negative reviews make mad cause how can you leave a negative review on a product you didn’t use properly? Layer, blow dry, another layer, blow dry, place frontal and wrap. Can’t believe I gotta explain that on a product that should be bought by people with product knowledge. Love this bond!

Bisher hatte er seinen Kleber immer bei seinem Friseur gekauft, jedoch war der verglichen mit diesem Produkt fast doppelt so teuer. Um Geld zu sparen haben wir uns für diesen Kleber entschieden - und wurden positiv überrascht. Der Kleber hält noch besser als der des Friseurs. Außerdem entsteht hier kein Schweißgeruch, was bei dem anderen Kleber teils nach einem Tag schon entstanden ist. Auch das Ablösen ist nicht allzu aufwändig. Wir sind total zufrieden.

I’ve been very impressed with this adhesive. With proper skin preparation and thin layered application, I was able to achieve a secure hold for 9 continuous days with no lifting at the hairline. What stood out most was the consistency of the bond over time. There was no breakdown, no “shedding” of glue, and no irritation to the skin. Even after a full wash and blow dry at a salon, the hold remained completely stable. I would recommend allowing at least 24 hours for full cure before heavy styling or washing. Comfort is also excellent — once applied correctly, the unit feels very natural and almost “disappears” in daily wear. A key point is that fit and tension matter just as much as the adhesive. If the lace sits naturally without being stretched or loose, this glue performs extremely well. Removal is straightforward with isopropanol and adhesive remover, although it does take a bit of time to clean the skin thoroughly after extended wear. Overall, this is the best adhesive I’ve used so far. Reliable, comfortable, and long-lasting when applied correctly.
