Great and gorgeous DAC. Sounds amazing.Couple notes for considering:You can't put it upside down, the screen auto rotates to left or right only.Bluetooth works for receiving only. You can't use it for retransmission.Update after 6 months of use:The MQA feature is completely useless. It sounds BAD with some noise in it. Spotify sounds better and any CD sounds better than "High Res MQA". I know it costs some money to make it work within the product but I wish it was cheaper and with NO MQA support.ifi team, please - get rid of MQA support in your new products and safe us some money instead.

I wanted to love this and it was great, but I had to be honest with myself (and as a testament to how good their much cheaper Zen is), the improvement wasn’t worth it “to me”I’m no audiophile clearly, but building a better setup for my PC and the stretch to this on top of hd660s wasn’t quite worth it to me. I did try it with Tidal but even using MQA there didn’t feel like over £550 difference to my ears.The final nail was having a fancy new keyboard with convenient volume control wheel that was now a pointless accessory as pc controlled sound is not functional. I believe this is to ensure the cleanest possible sound from the PC but in practice means I can only use the unit to control volume which is quickly a pain and a waste of one of the main reaons I got this keyboard ... oh and it’s another £550 did I mention? ;)Still very stylish and sounded great but I would prefer to have the choice to see if bypass had any realy improvements that outweighed the disadvantage 👍

Originally had the zen dac v2 and loved it. This Neo is on a different level. As a DAC attached to a Naim Nait 5si amplifier, the clarity is outstanding. The in-built headphone amp is excellent too as is the Bluetooth connection.

I was after a DAC that supported MQA for hi resolution audio. The Neo seemed to be ideal for the task. It’s a small, neat and stylish unit that sounds amazing in my high end set up. It’s like a veil being lifted revealing the detail underneath but without sounding harsh.

Really good streaming Tidal from pc using USB into a pair of Hifiman Sundara. Remember to change the settings in Tidal so that any MQA music is decoded on the Neo rather than in Tidal itself.

This is a great device though let down by the build quality of my particular unit.The front panel wasn’t centred , possible could have removed the screws myself to fix, but IFI should improve the QC of the manufacturing.The sound is superb.

I was a little wary about this purchase as I've seen many complain the output isn't high enough, and I suspect that's true for higher impedance headphones, but for my 55 ohm Focal Clear phones it's absolutely superb, I've had decent dacs and amps previously (such as Audiolab M-DAC+) but nevertheless am still noticing small details in songs I've never noticed before. I'm using the balanced output with a custom headphone lead. The unbalanced output, which is much lower powered, drives my 37ohm Yamahas fine. If I was using the Focals on the unbalanced output then power would become an issue...My only complaints are the supplied usb cable is very short, and the remote didn't come with a battery, which given the price I thought was somewhat stingy, wouldn't have been so bad if it was a common size as opposed to the CR2025 button batteries that aren't commonly kicking around in your drawer, luckily I did have some....

On and off switch could be larger

Well built, great amp for my Focal Clear MG. It,s connected to my computer and I found out about "Lossless " sound on you computer... pure clear sound, I don't know if a higher priced headphone can be more clear than when these are connected to this amp I have more than enough power when connected to the BALANCED out connection, nice clear Bluetooth too. ... so many choices, you just have to pick one, mid price, quality build, ...I like it

Amazon n’est pas seul responsable dans cette affaire.Sur le site internet du constructeur dans le section acheter, le produit présenté aujourd’hui est «  l’édition performance » du Ifi audio Neo IDSD. Il n’y a aucun prix annoncé. Il y a en revanche un bouton redirigeant vers Amazon FR où le produit est vendu 799€ mais attention il s’agit là de l’édition standard du produit qui n’est plus proposée par Ifi audio.Aujourd’hui ils parlent bien d’un bundle comprenant deux accessoires supplémentaires Ifi purifier.Cobra FR par exemple, vend pour 799€ l’édition performance. Pas de surprise.En revanche d’autres marchands comme Amazon vendent seulement le pack de base pour le même prix!

Es un DAC de categoría, el chip Burr-Brown que lleva es todo dulzura, muy cristalino, no colorea el sonido, es analítico y representa el sonido con gran calidad. La sección de amplificación me parece justita, pero le doy cinco estrellas igualmente porque a mí me parece tan solo un añadido que se agradece, yo recomiendo conectarlo a un amplificador independiente por las salidas balanceadas, y ahí es cuando el sonido se muestra en toda su amplitud y calidad. Lo uso en largas sesiones de escucha y se mantiene frío como un témpano, es un perfecto DAC y además muy estético, tampoco es tan caro para la calidad del producto, si estás dispuesto a esta inversión me parece una opción totalmente recomendable.Decir que no me interesa el MQA (full decoder para este aparato), que me parece un rollito comercial, ni siquiera utilizo su función como receptor bluetooth pese a que lo he probado y funciona a la perfección, a mí me interesa como DAC que decodifica cualquier formato a la perfección con enorme calidad, y me tiene encantado.

Prodotto veramente eccezionale.L'ho collegato ad un Laptop Dell tramite cavo usb 3.0b - usb 3.1c e collegato al momento tramite cavi RCA, forniti in dotazione nella scatola del DAC/Preamp, ai diffusori da scaffale Edifier S3000Pro. Il risultato è unico!Non posso far altro che consigliarlo per chi vuole ascoltare musica liquida spendendo una certa cifra senza sconfinare oltre le migliaia di euro. IFI ha centrato un bel colpo. Complimenti!21-11-2021 - Aggiornamento recensione: Dopo aver sostituito il DAC/AMP per problemi sul controllo volume digitale (control knob), l'ho provato per diversi giorni in maniera massiva con file di diversi formati e codifiche FLAC, WAVE, MQA, DSD ecc...Il prodotto funziona in maniera eccellente e la qualità del suono è analitica, dettagliata senza essere troppo fredda. Questo prodotto è molto severo con le registrazioni o master di dischi non prodotti benissimo. A me personalmente va bene così, poiché questa è l'autentica alta fedeltà sonora.

I like the simply straight forward design. Also it sounds great paired with a Peachtree Audio GaN400stereo amplifier.
