Hi the hight to top of open handle is 490 mm but with the handle depressed is 460 mm hope this helps ..

Can I re-cycle an empty cylinder?

Yes but you must take off the top by unscrewing it.

Can this be fitted to nicrew dual gauge co2 regulator? what is the fitting as 2 questions about fitting are answered differently. is it w21.8?

I don't know the nicrew duel , but the fitting on fire extinguisher is standard fitting , the pipe on the extinguisher is standard . just a mater of unscrewing the pipe on the extinguisher connecting. the duel gage and keeping the handle down with a tieback . I use them all the time for my planted tank with no problems .

Why does it come without a horn?

They are recycled c02 canisters so are cheaper to purchase them a new one . I use the c02 for my plants so don’t require a horn . But even though they are recycled I have all ways got a fully working set up with all the attachments.
