Listed as a replacement for 491588 filter for craftsman mowers. Not entirely untrue. It will fit this mower, but not before trimming the foam edges nearly half an inch on all 4 sides! I'm just glad it was bigger, not smaller. At least I have an air filter for my mower again.... sorta.... Won't buy this one again. 3 stars because it looks like it will work fine, just not for one of the listed applications.

This air filter is the best for quality and price . I used it for my 2009 Honda metropolitan . It fitted exactly like the original one , same dimensions . I would suggest it for any honda metropolitan owner . Can’t beat the price , get this air filter. The seller should mark it for honda metropolitan scooters as well .

This filter works well for Honda lawn mower engines. I replace the air filter every year when starting mowing season. This greatly helps the engine run better as the old filter gets dirty over time with dust (which is the point).

Air filter is a good replacement. But took forever to get here. Came from over seas.

Worked beautifully and appears to be of good quality.I had not ever changed the air filter and the one in our push mower was in need of a new one.It was easy to install, fit perfectly, and I thought it was a very good deal.Would buy again.

These are so inexpensive and easy to change that there’s no excuse not to do it at the beginning of each mowing season. Putting a new air filter in your mower, changing the spark plug, oil and sharpening the blade will keep your mower running practically forever.

Couldn’t find a good price locally. Filter is fine.
