It does what its suppose to do. Once opened, you have to press the writing tip down on some paper for about a minute or longer, in order for the glue to soak up the tip. I dont recommend usinf this for foiling, because the foil doesnt fully stick. You might get some coverage, but there will be spots of missing foil, pus it scratches off easily. Perhaps if you run it through a laminator, you might get different results. It also works well with embossing powder.

Great value for the money. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Great for all kinds of craft projects.

I love foil pens, adhesive pens in general. I do an awful lot of foil and these are extremely helpful especially for letters, smaller sized items. The only drawback to this pen is the tip gets very "frayed" for a lack of a better word too quickly. You have to keep pushing the tip too much for the glue to come out which makes the tip get frayed. When it works in the beginning these pens are awesome and amazing, but after a few times, it gets very frustrating when you are working on the little things. In general, for the amount of adhesive that are in these pens they are pricey compared to how much foil adhesive you can purchase other ways. There are other solutions I have come up with, but in a pinch I do love my foil pens.

This pen is so useful when foiling. Like it very much in my supplies to have for foiling.

I have bought this product more than once, a few times from stores like Hobby Lobby and a few times off Amazon. For some reason, the times I've bought it in stores, it seems the quality has been better than the Amazon versions. It has a tip that you depress like a paint pen to start the flow and you can typically squeeze the plastic tube with your hand as you write/draw to keep more coming. However, this last one I got off Amazon, the tube was rock hard, you can't squeeze it with your hand and I have to keep depressing the tip like 20 to 30 times to get product out. I basically have to use a piece of scrap paper or plastic and make a small pool of it, then dip into the pool with the tip and use it like an old fashion ink well and quill. Now as I said, I didn't have this issue before but it sounds like other people have been having similar issues. The product DOES work though, it goes on easy, drys completely clear and only needs to sit for a minute or two before you can use the foil, unlike the gel that says it needs to sit for about and hour before applying the foil (it also works for applying glitter). My current tube is almost empty and I think I will try buying it locally from retail again instead of Amazon to see if my results are better again. The one down side is be VERY careful to only get it on your project where you plan to place foil because although it does dry clear, any area not covered with foil or glitter will remain extremely tacky to the touch and will eventually pick up dirt, dust, debris, cat hair, etc. and always remain sticky. It will never eventually dry "matte" or dry to the touch on it's own.

It worked great! I found That the less onsorbant the paper the better it sticks. The adhesive came out smoothly and the foil stuck stuck right to it! You have to be carful not to use too much because the adhesive will wet the paper and the paper will ball up, then there’s little lumps under the foil. I’d highly reccoment this! I used to to put foil over a watercolor!

Funktioniert genau wie gewünscht. Habe mir die Goldfolie dazu gekauft und das Ergebnis ist super! Man sollte nicht zu viel Kleber verwenden und ihn (wie auf der Verpackung beschrieben) ca. 1 min trocknen lassen. Dann Folie aufbringen und z.B. ein Taschentuch darüber legen und mit etwas Hartem darüber rubbeln. Zuletzt einfach abziehen! Auch wenn ich den Stift mit der Kappe nach oben lagere, läuft immer mal wieder etwas Kleber aus. Das gibt sich aber, sicherlich wenn der Stift nicht mehr ganz so voll ist. Sollte er nicht irgendwann eintrocknen, wird er wohl auch sehr lange halten, da man wirklich nicht viel Kleber braucht.

I did a lot of research and decided to try this pen to foil my own written texts. There are so many mixed reviews online and it seems hit or miss as to which brand works or not. This exceeded my hopes and the "glue" comes out controlled and steady and my end result looked great...with no missed areas. As with nearly all these glue pens, which tend to have larger nibs, it's not easy to get fine details in small letters or areas but it gives extra options that toner paper doesn't have. I don't know how long it will last so I am buying another one right away to have in reserve.

muy buen producto, trae una punta de repuesto. funciona bien, la punta es redonda y algo gruesa.

Pour ma part j'ai voulu tester ce stylo sur de la pâte polymère cuite. Essai concluant. Le stylo doit être amorcé pour pouvoir l'utiliser (comme les feutres pour tableau noir). Donc bien secouer et amorcer via le système pompe de la mine. Une fois fait alors on peut écrire sur la surface choisie. Ils préconisent d'attendre 30s à 1 min avant d'apposer le foil... Je dirais minimum 1 min voire plus. ..la colle doit sembler presque sèche au touché (j'ai attendu 2 minutes au moins mais peut-être était-ce du au support ) . Appliquer le foil, bien appuyer pour qu'il adhère puis l'enlever en tirant d'un coup sec.

NO CONOCIA ESTE TIPO DE PRODUCTO, LO HE PROBADO Y REALMENTE FUNCIONA. NO QUEDA LA ESTAMPACION COMO CUANDO SE HACE CON CALOR Y PRESION, PERO LA ADHERENCIA ES MUY BUENA.
