Cute by why so expensive
I guess this is the new thing because my granddaughter asked for it for Christmas. It is cute and squishy but I don't feel it's really worth the price. Some of them are as expensive as $40!

Everyone loves these as gifts!
Kids love getting squishmallows as gifts! This one is super cute! I’ve been buying them for kids since they came out and it’s always a hit! Adults seem to like them too and they make great pillows!

Read speeds 280MB/s - 325MB/s USB A and USB C respectively
Installed easily without a thought or care on Win10 system. Works out of the box. Tested speeds using Samsung T7 SSD (USB 3.2 Gen 2, so the bottleneck in speeds is sure to be this product being rated only at USB 3.1) onto a 2.5" A400 Kingston SSD. Copied over 10gigs of videos to be sure speeds weren't simply registering devices' built-in cache as would be the case transferring smaller files. Performed markedly better than USB 3.1 Gen 1, which transferred the same files at roughly. Based on the speeds I got, it'l likely an nvme ssd would go even faster on the USB-C connector since 320MB/s is roughly the limit of SATA SSD's. Considering my external ssd was as fast as my internal SSD I was fully satisfied not testing further. Great value, good product. Far beyond the needs of most home users and perfectly luxurious speeds for creative professionals with massive files to manage. Highly recommended.

Great solution for WMR headsets
My internal USB 3.0 header wasn't capable of providing sufficient power to my WMR VR headset, which caused me no end of headaches (and motion sickness to boot). I had tried another USB 3.0 host card which didn't work correctly. So after lots of research, I found this card which proported to provide the requisite 900mAh.I'm pleased to say that the card most certainly does provide the appropriate amount of power, and worked immediately with the Microsoft branded drivers in Windows 10.The USB-A port was a little tight when I first plugged something into it, but after a few cycles of plugging and unplugging something, it loosed up nicely. I can't say much in terms of transfer speed, as I have only used it for the headset. If you're looking for a USB 3 host card to make your PC compatible with WMR headsets, this would be my suggested item.

Wonky performance.
It is so easy to install and has a very small footprint. However, it has an optional SATA power port but it did not come with SATA power cable so putting the SATA power cable later on will be quite a work when I get one. The performance is hit or miss. I installed the legacy driver that came with it on my Windows 10 OS but it still hardly recognizes my USB 3 drives. Sometime it works, but most of the time it doesn't. Very unstable. I purchased an expensive USB-C to go with this but it is not working as described.Waste of time and effort.

Fast charging, high speed
I've only used the Type C port so can't talk to the speed of the Type A port (I use it for a game controller, and it does power and function with that)This card was easy to install, doesn't take up much room (important when you have a large cooler, multiple cards, or a small case), and provides very quick transfer speeds on the Type C port. The card has USB PD/USB Power Delivery so it WILL safely fast charge a Google Pixel 2 (my phone) or Pixel 2 XL. I have a 2m long Choetech Type C -> Type C cable and it works fine with it, maxing the bandwidth and charging at 15W
