Mod Podge Dishwasher Safe Waterbased Sealer, Glue and Finish (8-Ounce), CS15059 Gloss, 8 Ounce

Okay, can I just say I'm addicted to decoupage? I love it. I really do. And Mod Podge is a great product. But to be 100% honest, this one is a challenge to really get behind. The smell is pretty strong--stronger than regular Mod Podge, which also "announces it's presence with authority" odor-wise. This one is really stinky and one must have a source of ventilation when using it. (At least I need to. I have a bloodhound's nose.) The other thing about this one is just the annoyance factor. I wanted a product that would essentially waterproof a series of mason jar glasses that I was designing for a Christmas present for friends and family that enjoy iced coffee. But in order to get these things to cure, I will need to start and finish this project during OCTOBER, for Pete's sake! It takes a whole month for this product to completely cure. I just don't see how this is practical in any way. When one makes a product, one naturally wants to use it right away, or at the very most, in a week. But having to wait an entire MONTH for the product to cure? Not practical in the least. But, in all honesty, the product works beautifully. I made a trial drinking glass, let it cure the 30 days, and it worked like a dream. I was able to put iced coffee into the Mason jar, enjoy the drink, and then wash it by hand and air dry without the stickiness or loss of finish that happened when using normal Mod Podge previously. The sweating of the glass container when containing iced coffee on a hot day didn't seem to affect the art work, and as I said, clean up was flawless and caused no ill affect to the artwork all around the outside. So, in conclusion, it does work very well, IF one cares to wait the entire 30-day cure time before using one's beautiful glass. ;)

This was my first time using mod podge and it was a great experience! It worked as expected and was able to waterproof my project and make it look nice and slightly shiny! It was a very cost effective way of sealing my artwork and making sure it won’t get ruined by water. The process of using it was very simple as I just followed the instructions and waited for it to dry before doing more coats! Overall was so simple and easy! I can’t wait to use it for my future projects!

Love that the kids can do their projects with this and they can go in the dishwasher and or get wet!

I used this over glass paint & acrylic markers on glass decanters: It worked well in application, didn't smudge or make the paints run... I don't use a dishwasher, so I can't say what it will/won't do.... Easy to apply with a soft brush, medium viscosity and it's a fair price.

I make a lot of handprint plates for a lot of different holidays with my toddler and this has been amazing for preserving the art on the dish! It is dishwasher safe but not food safe so keep that in mind but I am able to hand wash the dishes with this on them without ruining the paint underneath! Definitely worth saving the memories!

This works great for rock painters that will be leaving your creations outdoors. Seals nicely and leaves a little shine!

Being new to crafting, I got into making multi-tiered tidbit trays from glass plates, a glass candle holder, a napkin and some paint. What was missing was the correct mod podge. I had to be super careful about washing. That is until someone told me about this product. Game changer. While I can now sell my products for some pocket change there are some drawbacks that you should be aware of. The smell is really bad so use in well ventilated areas. While the initial drying time is quick, the curing time is several days. Don’t get it wet until it has cured. Price was good. I can live with the drawbacks as they are not a hard stop for me.

Can't go wrong with it.

Le vernis fonctionne très bien je l'ai même utilisé pour des choses qui vont dans l'eau régulièrement et rien ne bouge. Par contre il faut bien la piquer parce qu'on voit à chaque fois les traits du pinceau

Bought this to decorate clear glass plates with decoupage for Easter as had been unsuccessful in finding a dinner service that I liked. Came very well packaged & with quick delivery. Followed instructions & rolled laid down on table to mix well to begin with, cut out & applied single ply designs from paper napkins & once complete coated in a good layer of the Mod Podge dishwasher safe glue. Touch dry after 1-3 hours but after around 28 days (to allow for a full cure) plates are completely dishwasher safe! Have had no issues & design has remained in place perfectly so far! Great product, well priced & does exactly what it says on the tin! Definitely recommend.

Mentre stendevo a pennello questo Mod Podge avevo la sensazione che lasciasse visibili i segni delle pennellate e mi chiedevo quanti strati avrei dovuto dare per ottenere una superficie liscia... Invece già dopo il primo strato la copertura è uniforme, e per fortuna non troppo lucida. Ho dato due strati e sono in attesa di testarlo in lavastoviglie (devono passare 28 giorni tra l'applicazione e il lavaggio, tenete presente questo dettaglio se dovete realizzare degli oggetti da regalare!!)
