I make fishing lures that require heat during certain processes. I have 2 other heat guns that get used for drying paint and curing glues. One is an old Master gun that has a great stand for sitting on my worktable. The air flow is great for drying paint, but the output air volume is weak when I need to shape bucktail streamers. I have another large heat gun that I use when I need more air volume. It works great for those processes. What I like best is this Master "Mini Hot Gun" that I purchased from Amazon. It replaces having to use two different hot air guns to perform my task. It also frees up space on my worktables. The heat temperature and air flow volume are great. Highly recommend this product.

This is perfect for most light-duty jobs, and that's all I do these days. It's real quality like you usually only see with the most expensive guns, and shrugs off daily abuse. It also fits in the shallowest drawer of my toolbox.

This is the best size for heat shrink tubing up to 1.5 Inch diameter which is the largest I have and use. Doesn't take up much space, light weight, easy to hold in the hand, and heats up in about 2 seconds. I bought a second one to keep one in my shop, and one in the house. Definitely recommend if you need a good heat shrink gun!!!

I have a larger heat gun as well, but wanted a small one with a little reflector for doing heatshrink tubing. This works perfectly for that purpose.

Cheap, but it generates really good heat and the attachment makes heat-shrink easy. Just be sure not to drop the sucker onto the floor. I lost one minutes after unpacking when I pulled it off the table while it was on. It hit the floor, there was a spark, and that was it. Probably a fuse but I didn't try to disassemble it... bought another. That one has been working well. -Matt

I use this heat gun to melt globs of glue for removal. I also speed up the painting process on my crafts. The heat gun let’s yiu dry each coat of paint in order to get to the next coat quickly.
