Great Product
Used this for the first time, and it made my alcantara steering wheel look like brand new.

Poor packaging
Nozzle doesn’t work, not one drop came out, spray trigger pulls but nothing. Ended up pouring it into another bottle so it wasn’t a complete waste. Disappointed especially at this price.

Don’t use if your seats have leather and alcantara.
Looks to have dried out my leather on slight overspray areas. No warning on the container. Not happy with product.

Smells like Raid Bug Spray
It will make your car smell like Raid Bug spray. It's a very strong smell and doesn't go away no matter how much I've tried to air out the vehicle. I'm sure the product is effective in protecting the suede, but the crazy chemical smell is too much. I think you're better off finding another brand that doesn't smell like this.

Without equal
I had a very hard time finding a suede PROTECTANT. This one does the trick. My type-r is filled with black and red alcantara (unfortunately) and as nice as it feels to the touch, alcantara is known to get nappy, oily and flat fast. I just applied this product a few weeks ago using a boar hair brush. Application is simple and straightforward. I also applied it to my carpet and rear cloth seats. A drop of my sweat (I know, graphic) fell on the seat while doing the second coat and it beaded off the fabric as if it was a raincoat or freshly waxed paint. Nice. I can't comment on longevity or overall effectiveness since I've only had it on for about a month. But initial feelings are good. I will say that it sucks that you have to let the car sit for at least 12hrs before being able to touch but that may very well be due to the nature of the material. Lastly, it is quite expensive. One application on a 4 door civic ate through 60% of the bottle. Now I would say that the type-r has more suede than most, so I guess if you had just suede interior accents or something this would last some time. But if you have suede seats this won't last more than 2 applications. But beggers can be choosers since there seems to be no other products (that I could find) that protect alcantara and designed for cars. Shoe protectant doesn't count, that stuff shouldn't be used in a concealed environment.
