We get real trees every year the day before Thanksgiving and every year we struggle at about the one week mark where the tree stops taking up water, (sometimes earlier!), the needles start dropping and the investment of money and time decorating is wasted. By 12/26 I’m looking to take it down and toss it just to stop the rain of needles.This year I purchased this product and all I can say is WOW! Over two weeks and the tree is sucking up water like the day after I bought it, literally having to replace 3/4 to a full gallon in daily. Needles intact and the tree looks very fresh and healthy. I will never do another Christmas tree without this product, it is worth the $9.00 to have a beautiful Christmas tree long term.

Great product

Used this 2 years in a row and will continue! Our tree has been up 6 weeks and is still not very dry and very little needle loss. We put it in as soon as we get home and put the tree in water with this and it lasts! Works perfectly, highly recommend!

It kept it alive

We tried this for the first time last year, and it dramatically extended the life of the Christmas tree. Clean up was much easier because fewer needles dropped. The well of our tree stand is fairly large, so I bought extra bottles this year to ensure that we have a good supply. A real tree truly makes it Christmas, and this keeps our tree green!

Works, but have not bothered to find out how. Cut the tree in early December, was green in mid January. Has not killed the cats which insisted on drinking tree water, despite discouragement.

Update: we used this year, and it did not keep as well as last year. Maybe a new formula?Keeps our tree amazing! We love the natural smell of the Christmas tree and this helps extend its life

I bought this for my Christmas tree and quickly realized I could also use it for flowers I buy from the store. For example, a cap-full of this stuff every couple days kept a vase of red roses alive and looking great for about TWO weeks. I'm super impressed and will buy more of this when I run out, as I regularly have a vase of flowers in the house. One thing I noticed is that the liquid in this bottle got a little yellowish/weird after a bit, but it still works.
