Great price, great quality!
This kit saved my favorite couch from the landfill, and me hundreds of $$$. I can't believe the difference! I put up with 2 broken springs for several years and was totally surprised that my algorithm fed me a random DIY article on replacement of furniture springs. A quick Amazon search led me to this option. And the (necessary) installation tool. The tool (search "Upholstery spring stretcher") cost me $20.90. First MEASURE the length. From spring end to spring end, with the broken pieces together, mine was 25" exactly. Follow the instructions!!! Here's some CRITICAL POINTERS. 1. When you attach the tool to the spring, add 2 layers of duct tape around the spring and tool end to prevent it from flying apart while pulling. 2. Have a helper (3rd hand, your foot, etc.,) apply downward pressure to the middle of the new spring while stretching. This will give the spring the added length NEEDED to get the other end hooked in. The kit also includes four lengths of wire-reinforced cord with fastening clips. I left my original cords in place, using the new clips to attach, then placed the new cords in between for added strength. 3. I had to cut access strips in the cover material, so rather than sewing, I picked up an "eyelet tool kit" with eyelets, available here for ten bucks. I made a row eyelets along the cut and laced it together like an old Nike. Looks neat and allows easy access for future repairs. Total cost for spring kit ($21.93), installation tool ($20.90), and 1203 pc. eyelet kit ($8.99). was $51.82. I would guess that to hire this as an in-home repair would be $200-$300 in the Midwest. But the satisfaction of sitting down on my freshly renewed old friend is truly priceless!! Good luck!

Better than I ever expected!
I have a sagging leather couch that is still in great shape, other than the sagging seat cushions that uses the web-strap springs for the foam seating, not wired springs. I've tried replacing the web-straps, which was quite impossible, but I did replace the foam in the cushions - though I had to cut and then somewhat re-sew some of the web-straps to get the foam into the seat - which then reduced their effectiveness. Then I just stumbled on these springs. Wow! What a difference! I did one of the seats on my couch just to see if it would work and boy, did it ever work! I was concerned that since I couldn't put the little brackets on the top side of the frame and had to locate them on the sides of the frame, that it would minimize or limit the effectiveness of the spring. Not a problem - the one seat is now solid again! It looks and feels new compared to the seats next to it that have sagging 'holes' where we've been sitting. It's actually more firm than it's ever been, which I don't mind because it's still comfortable. Easy to install - took me about an hour for 4 of the springs. A lot of the hour was me Googling to find out if it is OK to put the brackets on the side of the sofa frame (trust me - it is!). Just watch the loose end of the spring after you've screwed the first side down - when you're pressing the loose side into the opposite bracket to screw down - it's pretty strong and can pop your arm pretty good if it slips out of the bracket! All in all, a great product that solved a frustrating problem. Now, to get more of these springs to finish off the rest of the couch!

Replacement springs
The springs are very good quality, firm support, perfect for the seat area. Easy to install if you know how to do it. If you don't, watch some YouTube videos. I was reupholstering a rockin chair and one of the old springs broke in half. I replaced all 4 springs with these new ones. Everything is supplied in the kit. Springs come sort of in a circular shape, so you need to step on them on the floor in order to make them lie flat. At least that's what I did. If too long, like in my case, you'll need heavy duty metal wire cutter to cut them to size. Overall, excellent springs!

Great and complete package
Although a bit of advice for those DIY buy the durapad insulator (padding blanket) and new foam to put between the spring and the top where you sit or you will feel the springs.
