Just what I needed
Recently I had some serious back and leg pain from a severely herniated disc. I found that I was most comfortable at work (darn it!) in the Herman Miller Mirra chairs that they have for everyone. I wanted something at home with good lumbar spine support that would allow me to work on my computer as comfortably as work. The price of the Herman Miller chairs was too much so I did some research and settled on the Balt Ergo Executive office chair.Pros: Very adjustable! Seat height, tension for back recline, armrests, headrest; even the lumbar support can be adjusted higher and lower for your height and its lock-down mechanism moves it in and out. Also very comfortable. Padded seat. The mesh back is very comfortable and reduces sweating. Inexpensive compared to most other posture support chairs.Cons: Headrest seems a little flimsy. It hasn't broken but I expect it to go first. It is attached with 2 steel shafts that extend up some ways. At the height that works best for me, it is high enough that there is noticeable flex when rest my head on it.Summary. If you need a posture support chair and are on a budget, this is a good chair.UPDATE: Nearly 2 years have passed and this chair is still going strong. I haven't had a single problem. When I originally wrote this review, I fully expected the headrest to have failed by now but it hasn't. I still can't help but think that it will be the first point of failure but that tends to bode well for this chair... 2 years of daily use and the weakest point hasn't had any issues.UPDATE 2: Now 10 years in and this Balt Ergo EX Executive Mesh Office Chair is hanging in their like a champ. No rips, tears, or any other kind of damage through the years. I took the headrest off a few years ago because I just don't use it and it got in the way (personal preference). It made it through 7 years without any issues and would likely have been fine the whole time. I still highly recommend this chair.

Great chair for big man, I'm one!
Just bought from Amazon warehouse.. Return, looks like damage. Was a plastic piece on bottom, Not a Problem... Followed the instructions, went very well. Took 2 of us to align back and bottom because its heavy! This is a nice HEAVY chair. The arms can adjust OUT, by the bolts.(The description doesn't mention). I don't like swivel arms,useless... But I like chair, I'm 300 lbs, 6'1 and the chair still fits loosely. It won't fit underdesk, but who cares! Sorry, but those naysayers are unfortunately few....

Chair is great.... must read... come on Amazon
Nothing bad to report about the chair. Actually I have this chair at work and it’s amazing. So I wanted one for my home. Well got a sweet deal for it “used”; description said very good shape and box would arrive damaged. No big deal right. Well it got here and 1. The product came damaged; the adjustment handle was broke off and 2. The shock cylinder wasn’t even in the box?! So I kinda can’t sit on it. Pictures available. Item 5 didn’t ship with it. So the inspection sticker is a joke amazon.

Great chair!
It is big I can sit down with my legs open with no problems at all, it has several ways it can be adjust. I am kind of tall 6' and this is one of the most comfortable chairs I have owned.

Great Chair
After finding this Amazon warehouse deal ($71.62) I was hesitant on buying this chair because of the reviews, but after getting it together I'm loving it.I had no problem reading the directions and putting the chair together. The chair seems like it is well made.If you don't like mesh fabric don't buy it

Serious construction flaws
This chair has serious construction issues. The whole chair back is bolted with two screws _through the holes in plastic_ to the seat. The problem is that the plastic at the point of contact starts to come apart soon and the backrest starts to wobble then falls off.The lumbar support started to slip down then completely failed to keep vertical position. When I unscrewed it, it was held by tiny metal spring rubbing against plastic, no wonder it failed.Summary: not worth the price, will last maybe a year.
