Great Air Popper
This is my second popper of this model, so you know I like it. The first one was used by a youngster who didn't know you can't melt butter in the measuring cup before measuring the popcorn. The resultant butter that got on the kernals and wound up in the device proved fatal to it, but it worked well for some years before that.It doesn't pop 4 quarts with the included meaure (about 1/2 cup), but if you put 3/4 cup of popcorn in and *gently* shake the popper (more of a vibration than a shake) a few times to keep the bottom kernals from burning, you wind up with 4 quarts of excellent popcorn. Note: I haven't tried "gourmet" popcorn, so it might give you 4 qts from the half cup. Or it might not. 🤔One of the nice features on it is the on/off switch. I don't like the ones you have to unplug to turn off. Another good thing is that it pops more quickly than some other brands I've had in the past.My final reason for liking it is that I've always had good luck with this brand's small appliances. They work well and they last well. But, alas, butter didn't suit the works. 😉

Didn’t last 2 months!
Didn’t even last 2 months. Received this February 23, died today, April 9. Did a great job of popping most of the kernels, but I expected it to last longer. Very disappointed.

Hot fresh chemical free popcorn
My husband recently had to go on a low sodium diet. He loves popcorn. The “light” type of microwave popcorn is still loaded with sodium. My mom had one of these when I was a kid. I ordered one and was pleasantly surprised that it’s just as easy to use today as it was back then. Delicious, fresh hot popcorn without any added chemicals or fake flavors from a microwave bag. Very pleased with this purchase! Super easy to clean.

Flying old maids
This air popcorn popper pops the kernels nicely, but popped and unpopped kernels tend to fly all over the counter. It left more unpopped kernels in the bowl than my previous West Bend popper.

Perfect Popcorn
Nothing to dislike about this perfect little machine. Does exactly what it is supposed to do, make fluffy popcorn. Of course, garbage in garbage out, so use fresh good quality popcorn and you won't be disappointed. Couldn't be easier to use, wouldn't ask for a single improvement. I personally do not use the little tray on top melt the butter, I do that separately. I like to keep the machine clean which is easy with a dry towel or brush to remove any "corn dust". Never use water..

Messy but works well
Popcorn pops well and tastes good. Very messy as lots of kernels fly out unpopped at first. The husks fly out the sides as well. They all may do this, I don’t know. Happy with it in the end.

Simple, Superior Air Popper
Such a great popper. Guessing 99+% of kernals pop, and every one is blown out of the heat chamber and they drop down into the bowl you position under the chute. When it's done, the heat chamber is completely dry and empty. No cleaning. I really like not messing with cooking in overheated oil too both for cleaning and health reasons. I've been drizzling some olive oil on the popped popcorn, with different spices (curry my fav), and now it's the only way I would make popcorn at home.

Set off fire alarm before getting a single popped kernel.
I gave this item the benefit of the doubt despite some of the bad reviews. I have a previous (yellow) model of the Air Crazy that I love but, it's been overused and no longer produces a light and fluffy bowl of popcorn. Sadly, I should have heeded the reviews. I used it the day I received it. I put in a single serving of kernels and turned it on. I proceeded to observe the kernels bouncing up and down 6-8 times before they were shot out into the bowl...unpopped. About halfway through, there was a single kernel inside the popping channel that was about a third popped and the fire alarm went off. I turned off the machine, got the alarm to stop wailing, and there was no actual popped corn in either the bowl or the machine. I have packed it up to return. I'm sad. I was really excited for a happy air popcorn maker replacement...and popcorn for dinner.
