Best pen on the market for the money
This is my second order of these pens, and I really like them. I am left handed, and I write like s... These pens have a fairly small signature (not a wide write), and they write on almost anything (unlike your typical ball point pen). They are almost like a fine Sharpie, except the ink flows better, and they just do a better job. I've read other comments, and for, me, smearing has not been a problem, but I can see how you might have a slight problem with the ink smearing on the page, especially if you move over it just as it is written (or very soon afterward). One thing that is a plus for me is the way the pens are made. They have a long cover cap that fits over the writing end. You have to pull this cap off and then turn it the opposite way (so the pen part is down) to write. Some people like the retractable pens; this one isn't. BUT, as long as you put the cap back on, you are never going to accidentally hit the button and have ink leak out all over your pocket in a bad scene. (Am I making sense?)

I'll never stop loving you.
This is truly a tremendous pen, the absolute best pen youโll ever find. I do all my work with this pen. I buy this pen in boxes of 12 because I like to scatter them around the house, a few in each room, because I like knowing that a P-700 is never out of reach. I keep a few at my desk at work, a few in the car, and I make sure my girlfriendโs house has at least two at all times. I like to keep one in the breast pocket of each coat. Often a P-700 shows up in the washing machine as Iโm pulling wet clothes out, but you know what? It still works! Thatโs how good this pen is. At work, I use this pen to take notes during meetings. I find myself taking extraneous notes, jotting down random gibberish phrases, long after the meeting is overโbecause the pen compels me. It wants me to keep writing, long after I have anything to say. This pen turned me into a compulsive list-maker. I have little post-its around my desk, with endless to-do lists, comprised of tasks I know I will never complete. I have a real fear that one day this pen will go out of production. I hope to god that when that day comes, I am not around to see it. I love you, Pilot P-700, and Iโll never let you go.

Great Go-To Pen
I'm picky about my pens, and the P-700 has been my go-to for over 15 years. With the 0.7mm tip, the pen writes smoothly and reliably. Keep the cap on when not in use and you'll be good to go. I normally have at least one of these on my person at all times. One word of warning: Be careful not to have these go through your clothes washer. I've made this mistake twice - once, the ink stayed contained in the cap, the other time, it bled into my clothes and was difficult to remove. That's really more my fault than than the pen, though.

My go to pen
Have used these pens for years , like them better than expensive pens. Left one sitting for a couple months , wouldn't work - stuck it in microwave for 10 seconds - almost like new!

Great Pen for Dark Ink Lovers
My parents got me into really nice pens and pencils, and this was one of my favorites that I'd take from my dad's pen drawer. The grip is very comfortable, and the ease that the pen rolls along the paper is amazing. The ink is very dark - which is amazing (to me) but can also cause some distress to people who like to write on both sides of a notebook paper because the ink is visible on the other side. However, I enjoy very dark ink, so it poses no problem for me. I'd also like to emphasize on keeping the pens capped. Do not start using many at a time, because they WILL dry up, and it is very difficult to get it going again once its been dried. I usually just take out one at a time and replace it once I've used it up or I've lost it.

Best Pen I've Ever Used
I'm in my 60s, and about three years ago I discovered the Pilot P-700 pen. As long as it is available, I will use it for personal and business use above all others. Extremely consistent performance, with a professional looking line. It's so smooth and easy. I use it for cursive writing as well as printing. The only issue is extremely minor: If you use it on "slick" or less absorbent paper fiber, give it some time to dry. On slick paper or cards, the ink may take a long time to dry...and might smudge. Blot it gently if you aren't sure. Rarely is an issue at all. I don't carry this pen as a status symbol, I carry it because I like it better than any other pen at any price.
