I got this telescoping boat hook for our boat to make tying ropes and handling lines much easier. I use it whenever we dock or anchor, and it extends smoothly to reach ropes that are hard to grab by hand. I like it so much because it’s lightweight, durable, and easy to adjust, which makes boating tasks less stressful. Overall, it’s a high-quality, practical tool that makes boating more convenient and safe.

It was great initially, but now it no longer extends very easily and is starting to bind up after only one year of use.

Typical China made material and construction. Cheap. First one came with the hook part/end broken off. Sent it back and they sent another that was fine. As cheaply as these things are made, I figure it may be a one-use, or a few uses if I treat it delicately. Hopefully it won’t break hanging in the boat before I get a chance to use it.

Handy pole to unhook snagged lures or to grab the dock or stuff in the water. Fits in my boat storage compartment.

Wow! is this thing BEFFY! You won't have trouble with it bending or breaking, It folds up nice and small so you can stow it away, but if you extend it all the way, you can really reach out and touch someone! Its a bit heavier than I expected but this thing is SOLID! That's a good trade off. This will work great for picking things up out of the water and fending off crashes at the dock.

This is by far the best quality and light weight tool for docking a boat, in my case a 22ft Pontoon Boat. Worth every penny.
