Power Stance Kickstand

I got tired of my heavy English 3 speed bicycles blowing over in wind storms because their original kickstands had such small footprints, were worn and shorter than their original lengths, and didn't allow for the bicycles to be upright enough in order to be stable when parked. I decided to take a chance on these and what a difference from the original bicycle kickstands! These kickstands are "burly" as described, have a thick hinge (approx. 7/8"), have a large footprint (approx. 1.5" x 7/8"), and the adjustable base works really well to keep the bicycles at any upright-orientation for maximum stability while parked. I was able to fit these to a Large Raleigh, and a Medium Dunelt. Note: I was NOT able to center the kickstand-mounts on the chainstays: English 3 speeds have fairly compact bottom bracket and, because of the small amount of space in the kickstand location, I had to offset the kickstand-mounts on the chainstays and slide them away from the bottom bracket as much as possible to gain minimal-clearance (approx. 1/16") between the Kickstand hinge and the bicycle crank arms {See Photos). So far they seem to work well though, seem to be secure enough not to move from their mounting locations, and the crankarms are not contacting the kickstand when in the up position. Overall I'm happy with the result! I don't haul heavy loads with these bikes but English 3 speeds are heavy steel frame bicycles to begin with and these kickstands meet that challenge. Since the bicycles are now orientated more upright, with a larger footprint, they are much more sturdy when parked on their kickstands; even in wind.

Likes: I just found the best kickstand ever! quality is key to an kickstand and this is the best kickstand I ever brought in my entire lifetime. Concerns: I was concerned it might not fit but it fits my Canyon Pathlite perfectly! The adjustment was concerning but turned out it works like a charm so NO concerns. Kept or Returned? Kept it and will definitely recommend to my cyclist friends and buy another if needed! Thanks for your time and I hope this review was helpful.

Feels pretty solid/sturdy and was simple to install on my Trek Verve hybrid. I saw so many reviews of other kickstands that break or snap easily and was concerned with getting a quality one for my bike. This seems great so far. I've ridden my bike a few times with it installed now and no issues. I bike commute to work 9 miles each way on a combination of paved trail, gravel road and a short section of single track and it stays in place and out of my way. The only issue I've had (and it's not really even an issue with the kickstand) was unhooking my paniers after my ride. I have to remember to remove the one to the kickstand side first, otherwise the weight balance gets shifted to far to the kickstand side and it tips over. Again, not an issue with the stand, just something to keep in mind if you aren't used to using a kickstand like I wasn't.

I bought this for my E5 Creo. The included M6 bolts were too short and looked like the normal Bike Accessory Sludge bolts you'd find anywhere/everywhere. I ended up betting some nicer bolts that are 5mm longer. Nice strong spring action. Kickstand goes up and stays up, and out of the way. I like that the height can be adjusted easily but is not easy to accidentally change while using. My one point of concern is the rivet that serves as the hinge. Hopefully it holds up after many, many kicks and hundreds of miles of use. Looks great in Black :)

Purchased to replace a broken kickstand on my Aventon Aventure bike at the recommendation of a Facebook group. This was a direct bolt on to the bike with new hardware included if needed. It was much sturdier than the stock kickstand but it was a tiny bit heavier. So far I really like it. Super easy height adjustment too. I was worried about the 44 lb limit initially but so far it has held up my bike with no issues.

Sturdy, well engineered and great appearance. Adjustable but at the lowest setting a tad too long for 20inch tire e bike. Modified length , sawed off an 1inch to fit My 20inch tire folding e bike. Kick stand is perfect. Major upgrade over cheap original equipment.

I was skeptical about this kickstand when I first purchased it but was very pleased with the quality and sturdiness of the stand. I had already snapped two of the manufacture kickstands. I purchased 4 aftermarket stands. None seemed to fit or match up to the existing mounting plate. All were not sturdy and too short. This stand installed easily on the mount and has the added length I need to keep the bike upright. After 2 weeks of use, I immediately purchased another. (just in case)

This kickstand is awsome. Its good while it last. My 55lb zooz has broken 3x of them. Holds up my zooz bike with ease on any grade of ground.
