My most comfortable pair of jeans!
I had heard a lot about Jag Jeans before I finally decided to try them. They lived up to my hopes! These jeans are very comfortable, particularly in the waist. I have a "pooch," I guess you call it, and I hate how the waistband of pants digs in, especially when I sit for long stretches, like during car rides. These jeans are a big improvement. They do stretch out some, although I haven't had the problems with a "saggy butt" that I see other commenters describing. To me, these jeans don't stretch out more than my "regular" jeans that have stretch in them. I have learned to deal that it -- when the stretch gets a little bad, I throw the jeans in the washing machine. If it's really bad, I will put them in the dryer, too. That takes care of it.A note on sizing: I am between a 10 and a 12. I ordered both sizes, and I decided to stick with the 10. I didn't notice a huge difference in the waist -- with both pairs, I have to kind of work them around my hips, which makes sense, given that they don't have a zipper or belt.

Longer then stated and not really black
Arghhhh.. So frustrating. These jeans fit great up at the top (snug and comfy around the baby belly) but the inseam length was 35" not the 33" it stated for a regular cut on Jag's web site. Heck, the XLong is 36"!!! I ordered 2 pair twice and all 4 pairs were 35". The other issue and more importantly, because obviously I could have them hemmed, was that these are not really black. The Black Sand is not black, they are a very very dark Indigo blue. It was only too obvious once I held them against something truly black. I am so disappointed. I really want black jeans that didn't drag on the floor!

Low pockets
I'm 5'9" and 140 lbs. 29.5" waist and 39.5" hips. I am normally a size 8. The 6 fit nicely in the waist and hips, but were too short. The inseam actually measures 33.5". My biggest complaint is the pockets sit very low - makes it look like your butt is sagging. Other reviewers are right about the chemical smell. I can't comment on whether it goes away because I sent these back.

Great fit but, way too long!!
Nice pants but for the price they should have them available in different lengths. I am hemming them at least 6". These are nice but nothing special. Should be $29-$39 max and free shipping.

These are Fantastic! I will get more of them!
I had my doubts about these jeans - will someone spot the waist and think I'm wearing maternity jeans? Are they going to sag down? Will I look like an old mom with a long butt? I took a chance based on the reviews here. They are the most perfect jeans ever!I am slender, but at 40+ years of age, my waist is not always the same size and shape from week to week (can you hear me, fellow age cohorts?). These jeans forgive this fluctuation. Everything stays smooth and flat; any belly flop I would have had otherwise is smoothly controlled by the waist of these jeans. Do I want the band of the waist to be seen by others? No. I only wear these with longer shirts that leave the band unseen. But every aspect of the jeans from the hips down looks stylish and standard; no "Mom Jeans" here! You would never guess they are not standard-waist jeans.I am buying at least two more pairs, in different colors and leg cuts. I cannot even think of any reason to wear standard-waist jeans again, except with a top that is not long enough to conceal the band. If you are on the fence, let me tip you over - these jeans are the *perfect* jean.

Only 2 out of 5 fit correctly.
I have purchased/exchanged/returned this style of Jag Jeans 5 times (using Amazon and Zappos). Out of all of those pairs only 2 have fit consistently. It doesn't seem to be a matter of which type of denim is used.I do like the style (except for the pockets sitting at the bottom of the butt) and the comfort. But I suggest that you find a place where you can try them on in person before you buy to make they are true-to-size.

love the fit but doesn't last.
Pros: Has a lower pocket in the back, so it doesn't look like a mom jean. Comfortable fit. Washes nicely not much color fade.Cons: It didn't last. It wore out (got holes) after about 4-5 months. The price is pretty steep for only 4-5 months of wear.

Worth every penny
When I bought my first pair of Jag jeans, I LOVED them, they fit perfectly - I usually wear an 8, sometimes 10 depending on the brand, ordered the 8's and they were perfect. I love the flat front, the fabric - the fit is very, very flattering. The only problem was the price - $70 was steep for me for a pair of jeans. So I looked for other pull-on jeans at a lower price point, figuring "how different could they be?"I was so wrong - there is only one Jag jean and they are worth every penny - I now own 3 pair and I wear them all the time, the dark wash and black are great for work and the light wash for the weekends. So in terms of "cost-per-wear", they are a great value.
