eXtremeRate Soft Touch Mint Green Replacement Handles Top Shell, So for some reason i found a crack only on the top shell while everywhere else was perfect and i didn't have a rage moment or drop the controller. when i found eXtremeRate sold the top shell i felt it was just easier to replace it and surely it was there are two screws under the handles and one screw under the battery compartment. The only real pain is getting the back handles off i felt the prying tool was useless however, i have a bunch of prying tools that i use for doing my computer repairs they are just clipped in place so you can be patience they will pop off. the soft touch was really nice and the mint green along with the black body actually looked different so i was happy with the purchase. this kit is perfect if you just need to replace the top shell or if your looking just make the controller unique as you can also buy some replacement buttons aswell. Overall good quality and fitted the controller like the original.

My previous controller suffered a canine mauling and rather than buy a new one, thought I'd give this kit a go. Very very impressed. In the packaging is a link to a YouTube video that explains the process and its very easy to follow. Some of the pieces are awkward to remove but following the step by step video I had it sorted in no time. I purchased the case replacement, a full set of triggers and bumpers and replacement joysticks. It actually feels better than my original controller and looks 100 times better too!

Good quality, perfect fit. My girlfriend wanted a pink controller and this was much cheaper than buying a new one!

It feels very nice and looks good too, but the cut out for the d pad was a little too small so i had to take it off and replace it a number of times

I decided to purchase this as I wanted to customise my controller, both for the look as well as the experience of taking my controller apart. I went for a green faceplate and matching ABXY buttons. The green colour was exactly what I was looking for and their image is accurate to the colour received. Taking the faceplate and grips off were relatively easy, changing the buttons out were much fiddlier and time consuming. If I were doing this again with another controller, I would most certainly change the faceplate and grips, but would probably pass changing the buttons again. The faceplate and grips have a smooth texture, I personally would have preferred if the texture was the same as the original Xbox Series X controller; but I’ve got used to it now. There was a very small bump on the edge of the Xbox button hole which caused the faceplate to initially not fit. I had to use my nail to remove the bump for it to fit perfectly. I guess this shows the precision needed to make this product to fit the controller. I love the fact that it came with a screwdriver so you don’t need to source your own tools, which would be an additional cost. I have decided to give this product 4 stars rather than 5 because of the texture and bump in the hole on the Xbox button. But overall I’m very happy with the product and would purchase another if I wanted to customise another controller in the future.

Tried getting hold of the official purple controller but could of been waiting 2 months so I bought this shell instead and converted one of my black controllers and its great. The mrs is over the moon the only thing she did say she wasn't keen on was the grip at the back been smooth rather than textured like the official shell but not a big problem. Made her happy and was easy to fit

Lo compré para mi esposa, tiene textura suave, fue fácil de poner y se siente de buena calidad. No incluye botones o joystick, es solo la carcasa de frente y los laterales. 👍🏼

Looks great and has a very sleek feel to it. It's pretty much like having a brand new controller if you buy the replacement buttons too.

Buen material, por ponerle un pero dos de los tornillos no entran bien y hay que ir ampliando el orificio.

Passt genau wie die original Schale, ist mit etwas Geschick (und Mut) ;-) innerhalb weniger Minuten montiert. Es müssen zunächst (hier kommt der Mut ins Spiel) mit einem Hebel die beiden Seitenteile an den Griffen ausgehebelt werden, wobei man nicht zu zaghaft sein darf, es muss ordentlich knacken. Danach sind lediglich 5 Schrauben zu lösen, die Schale auszutauschen und die 5 Schrauben wieder einzudrehen. Eine der Schrauben liegt im Batteriefach unter dem Aufkleber. Zuletzt steckt man entweder die orignal-Seitenteile wieder dran oder die neuen, farbigen (die aber keinen Grip haben). Die notwendigen Werkzeuge werden mitgeliefert, Montagevideos findet man bei Youtube. Sieht super aus, es gibt keine offenen Ritzen oder Spalten, das verwendete Plastik fühlt sich an wie ein Babypopo. :-)
