Alphacool Eiszapfen Laser Fitting with 4pin Molex

So the way this is constructed is that the laser body sits inside a brass tube, which then sits inside the body of the fitting. There is a removable top cap to access the laser but no way to align it. The tolerance between the laser body, the brass tube, and the fitting body has about 1/16th inch of slop between all of them. The cap for the fitting does not come into contact with the laser body. Either there is a spacer missing or maybe a spring under the laser body is missing. As either one of those options would force the laser body to become coplanar with the inside of the cap. Which I am not sure would even solve the problem. I was really hoping to be able to use this to get accurate drill points for passthrough fittings but it is beyond worthless for anything at all.

I used this laser fitting to help make straight runs. To do this, screw the fitting into a female g1/4" at one end of the run, turn the laser on, and note where it shines; I had an open fitting at the other end and when aligned, the laser would shine right into the far end fitting. Obviously, be sure never to never let the laser point into your eye when using this product! I recommend using this laser with a short g1/4" rotary fitting - that way you can screw the laser on without needing to simultaneous rotate the long wire supplying power to the laser.

Der Laser im Inneren des Fittings ist NICHT FIXIERT !!!! Es gibt zwar ein Gehäuse, mit einem Fassungsring, aber das ist nicht fest !!! Dies bedeutet, der Laser zeigt irgendwo hin, aber niemals gerade !!! So ist das Ding leider vollkommen nutzlos !!!

Unfortunately the laser point is completely off, making is useless. I tried to align it properly but it's impossible.
