Question 1

I want to paint stones for a pathway outside. Will it hold up for outdoor use? How long?

Accepted Answer

Thank you for your question Urbandecay. Aurora is water based and so needs to be varnished over when used outside. Possibly even with two coats depending on weather severity. How long it lasts outdoors will depend on the Varnish product you use. We recommend referring to the information provided with the Varnish you use to check what it states.I hope this helps! Thank you for your interest in Aurora.Kind regards,PandoraStocks Ltd Customer Support

Question 2

Is this paint strontium based?

Accepted Answer

Hi Cathy,Thank you for your question.Strontium, as the oxide 'strontium oxide' (SrO), is present as a major constituent, alongside oxides of other elements such as aluminium and europium, in SpaceBeams' Aurora glow in the dark paint. So, along with other elements, Strontium is a key constituent of this paint. I hope this answers your question. Question 3

can i try using this on a charging cable or is it too risky?

Accepted Answer

Hi Gisselle,As long as the paint is not on a section that gets hot, it should be ok. Also, it's worth noting that if Aurora is painted on a flexible and frequently bending/moving surface, such as a cable, this may effect how long it adheres to the surface. Although it should still last a long amount of time. Be sure the surface is clean, dry and free from grease/oil before applying Aurora for the strongest bond possible.I hope this helps! Question 4

How long is the glow visible on a adidas hoodie

Accepted Answer

Hi, Aurora glow in the dark paint glows brightest for the first 6 hours and then can glow for up to 14-24 hours depending on how well charged up it is and how thick the application is. We recommend keeping your application as thick as possible (ideally 3+mm) and charge up Aurora for at least 2 hours under strong sunlight for best results.
