Spice Drop Chai Masala Extract (Tea Masala Drops), No Additives, 5 ml (Pack of 3 x 180 Drops)

It really does take only one drop to give a nice strong chai flavor to tea. Because it is separate from the tea, you can add it to what you want: regular black tea, decaf, rooibois … Sometimes my husband uses it in non-tea beverages, too. On occasion I add two drops to a large cup, but it is sometimes then on the cusp of being too much (but I like lots of spice flavor). I put off trying it for awhile, because the price seemed high for a tiny bottle, but it’s well worth it. A little bit goes a very long way. We have since bought a second bottle for my husband to have at work, even though the first bottle still has plenty.

These chai masala drops are excellent for boosting chai flavor- I have used them in tea and coffee. 1-2 drops is plenty. I accidentally did more than that once and it was borderline too strong to be enjoyable. It’s a tiny container but for just 1-2 drops each time it lasts for a while. Chai blends- even homemade- are racket spicy enough for me but these drops bring it to the next level. I have used the cardamom drops and they are pretty good, haven’t tried any of the other flavors but chai masala is excellent.

I am a masala chai lover and I like it robust and strong of spice. I made tea for a 12oz mug, half water and half whole milk with one teaspoon of regular white sugar. I added a drop of Spice Drop Chai Masala Extract, just as directed, and stirred to dissolve it. It smelled great. However, the tea was barely palatable. It was just too much extract for the volume of tea. It tasted overwhelmingly of clove and nutmeg and extremely medicinal. I prefer masala tea that is cardamom and ginger forward. I will experiment some more and try to figure out how to add *less than* one drop for a 12oz mug of tea. I think one drop would suffice for 36 to 48 ounces of tea. The concept of these extracts is fantastic. I think it would be vastly improved if we had better control of the amount of extract. Just beware: if you use it as directed, it will taste like a bitter pill indeed.

I used this in coffee with splenda and almond milk. Great smell and taste, but one note off for me. I am not tolerent of black pepper. I sometimes love Chi and sometimes do not like it. This is likely due to the Black Pepper in the chi mix. Black pepper and I do not agreed. It is not a true allergy but it is a food intolerence for me. The spices are listed on the product. I wish they had shown up on the listing. This product was recomended highly to me by a friend.

WOW this stuff is really strong! I bought this to replace my almost daily starbucks chai and 1 single drop is more than enough for a 20oz cup of tea. The flavor is exactly what I was looking for and I will definitely repurchase in the future.

This is exactly what I was looking for, just a few drops has all the taste and aroma of chai. I use it to boost my tea, but buying a second bottle now and plan on baking with it.

Even though it's the sixth ingredient listed, the clove in this spice blend was so overly spicy that burned my tongue and lips and I only used one drop in a cup of tea! Unfortunately the item is not returnable. I don't know anyone who would enjoy this level of spiciness

Ideal item for making tea more tasteful. Its a good strong tasteful extract.

This is strong, tasty and easy to use .. you can carry it and put one or two drops in any cup before you sip .. good flavour of cinnamon, and ginger ..I have been using it for the last 2 years
