I have tried this product for a while now. It has pros and cons just like any other product out there. The Pro will be it. It has more than enough space and setting up was easy too. The con will be that this product does not have a floor mat that comes with it, so be careful of that if you decide to buy it. Make sure you have a floor mat to protect your baby. The other downside of this product is that it is not steady and not strong enough and the baby can easily push it back and forth and it does not stay on the floor, unfortunately. If your baby is walking, Then I don't recommend this product at all. It was made out of cheap materials.

I would give this less than one star if I could. The adhesive on the hooks is poor, and barley stayed on. Thankfully 2 extra hooks were provided so I could replace the one that kept popping off. On my 3rd time using the gate mr 16 month old niece pulled on it causing one of the fabric loops holding it on the hook to completely come apart and rendering the gate useless. Just buy a regular plastic gate and save yourself the hassle!

Not what I expected will not work for what I need

First off, I didn’t do measurements, but this is insanely long. That was my mistake though. But simple fix I thought I would just roll the sides to be smaller and it worked but the whole hook wall system is so odd. The hoops on the netting will easily slip off, directions give no help. Overall just wouldn’t recommend this.

I put this up at the bottom of my stairs to stop the pets and kids from going up. Once the kid banged on it enough, once the dog ran into it enough, the actual hooks broke off. Now I have the base stuck on my wall and no hook to put the net onto. The net is strong, the adhesive is strong, but the actual hook breaks. Tried it again, and got the same result. This product rated low because it simply cant work if it breaks.

Ok so I know this got bad reviews but I think it’s just a fact that people need to understand it is just essentially a mesh screen it’s got 2 poles to go in the sides and keep it straight and hooks you can stick to the wall, you will want to put these far enough apart so you are stretching it as far as it can go to get the beat use out of it. If you have strong or resourceful toddlers they may be able to get through it, or if you have destructive pets I have no doubt they will chew it up, I purchased it more as a deterrent for my toddler to leave our loft area and try to walk downstairs, I have no doubt he could get through it if he really tried however it does slow him down, so it works as a barrier while supervised, I would not leave him un-supervised because I know he would eventually get out. I see a lot of people mentioning the hook issue, they are right and that is the reason for dropping a star, they are sticky, they will rip the paint off your wall if you remove them (although I was already aware of this and came to terms with it so that wasn’t the reason to remove the star) I was doubtful they would be sticky enough to hold on very long, rather than buy new hooks I just drilled a hole in these ones and screwed them in using some screws I had laying around, the hooks themselves are plastic, as long as you don’t try to drill a hole too close to the edge it won’t break and you can screw them in to a stud no problem and holds great! It was just the fact that I had to drill the hole and use screws for the hooks was why I dropped the star because it would have been better to have them provided screw in hooks. So overall, I knew what I was buying, it was $20 I didn’t expect much from it, it does it’s job well and I am happy with the purchase, as long as you don’t expect too much from it and understand that it is only a mesh screen I think you will be happy with it too, just drill holes in the hooks and screw them in like I did or you can buy new hooks like others did either way works

Used the gate to keep our bunnies in their allowed "free roam" area. Easy to install....then the frustration began. The hooks continued to fall, which then made the gate fall down. We ended up using real hooks. The loops broke within 3 weeks, so we had to tie them to the hooks, which was the opposite of convenient and helpful...unfortunately, I got what I paid for :(
