Spot MobileAugust 7th, 2014Information to Customers:Spot Mobile had a contract with an underlying carrier that matured and was going through a sale which did not materialize. The Company has made the decision to wind down its business and will no longer be processing refills. Customer's account/services will terminate effective September 7th, 2014 at 11:59pm (EST).

The service is very cheap for people who only use the phone for emergency or who do not use much. Texting is five cents per text. Voice is ten cents per minute. Five dollar pay as you plan include three month service. The deal is better than tracfone. You can use tmobil or at&t unlocked phones. Tracfone only allow their own phones which is a bad deal. You can use android phones with spot mobil which is a great feature. You can download many apps you want. Just buy the phone with a large internal memory because apps use internal memory most of the time.

I love Spot Mobile. They're effective and inexpensive and is a much better deal than Verizon I think and so why not? It is easy to use and there is a bit of fun to using the SIM card.

It is hard to activate it on line and MUST to call for activation if choose $5/10/20 prepare use.Also, the company wind down right now and everything is gone.

Spot Mobile ceased operations Sept 7 2014.

It Works and thats all i need from something this simple.i put it inti my LG phone and then went to the website to activate it

Wasnt able to use in my area. But Im sure it wouldve been a good service at a reasonable price too.
