Great quality. Easy to use. Works well! If you habe a mustache. This (nose purge) is 100% the way to go! No need goop to seal it and no need surface so much for clearing. My only suggestion is to defogger the lens really meticulously. That way when you are nose purging it won't fog up for longer. I can go a good hour or more before I need to redesign my mask while nose purging any leaked in water the whole time If you have mustache water will leak in no matter what you do. The beauty with this mask is you can consistently purge the leaked water out effortlessly. Besides shaving your mustache, this is the best option i have found. These nose purges are made for divers to regulate pressure and leakage without having to surface. It is 100% effective for snorkeling too. Not just for the mustache leakage but also for free diving it is easier to regular the pressure as you dive with this nose purge mask. Those are the main things I noticed about this mask that gove it an advantage over any other one. Besides the material and design of it. The purge allows mustached users to purge water leakage without surfacing. The purge allows the user to regulate the pressure change in their head as the free dive. Otherwise, a mask is a mask is a mask. I like single window over split because I feel like I can just see more and more clearly. However I prefer clear material or actually lenses on the side view so that I can have some periphery to see any hazards not directly ahead of me. In 1967 I got a classic, oval dive mask with a nose valve for clearing out water while submerged. Paired with a simple snorkel tube -- candy cane-shaped with no annoying valves. Very trouble-free. I left them behind while moving to another state a few years ago. Lately, I tried a new-fangled 2- lens mask and complicated snorkel with check valves top & bottom. Very annoying and disappointing! Let in water through the lower snorkel check valve. So, I tried this current mask and found it worked very much like my old one, having a basically oval lens and nose valve. Plus, this new mask has a rubber nose cover to allow for easy nostril pinching to equalize eardrum pressure. Moreover, even though I have a short full beard, I get very little leaking of water into the mask. I highly recommend this mask to both beginners and experienced divers.

I am an avid snorkeler. I spent over 25 years shooting U/W photos with both SCUBA and free diving.........I used a Pacifica Mast for over 25 years and was heart broken last year when it finally failed........... The SCUBA CHOICE is just like my old Pacifica.........Being a photographer I need good vision, single plate, and a simple purge for water that seeps into all masks............. I can not stand water around my nose, even a drop or two is very annoying . After buying and returning 3 very fancy and expensive masks at my local "super dive shop", I turned to Amazon........... Found 2 whole face models with purges........... I found the SCUBA CHOICE was by far the best........... I have a small face but I have found NO ONE who does not like this mask. Only problem I had was breaking it in as it fogged a lot. 4 predive washings Joy and 4 face plate cleanings with tooth paste (not gel) and my mast is working perfectly............ I love it and have been snorkeling for hours with no water, no fog and great comfort............ great product!!

I love this mask. I have a really high prescription and I can't wear hard contacts. This mask solved my problem :) I didn't want to purchase prescription lenses because they would be expensive. Instead I purchased this mask and I was able to fit my glasses inside of the mask! I had plenty of room, the suction power was excellent and I am able to see clearly with my glasses on underwater! The key is too unscrew the arms off your frames and place the glasses inside of the mask. The window is wide and when I used the mask without my glasses, it was very comfortable on my face. Great purchase, I highly recommend!

Leaks as soon as submerged. deeper you go the worse it leaks. you will get to be a pro at using the purge valve. I siliconed the purge valve out of the design an now it's a pretty good mask.

Haven't had a chance to use it yet,but I had one like this years ago and tried for so long to find another.the nose valve makes it easier to push water out with out having to come up and lift the mask.great for snorkeling and shallow dives

When you enjoy snorkeling but you have a mustache/beard it is very difficult to get a good seal that doesn't leak so a purge valve is essential to allow you to expel the water before it forces you to start messing about with the mask. After getting cataract surgery I no longer need my old (prescription) face mask and can now enjoy a panoramic view instead of the old split screen that prescription lenses forced onto me. So I purchased this unit and it seems to do what I needed. -The straps are sturdy. -The seal seems as good as I got from my expensive prescription mask -The valve functions as expected (I can't draw air IN so water should not enter via the purge valve) -The full screen view is as good as I expected Disclosure...not tested in the ocean yet so if this fails to satisfy when used on my next cruise I will adjust my rating.

El diseño es muy bonito. Pero mi experiencia con el visor no fue la esperada. El ajuste fue bueno, no necesité apretar para que no entrase agua. Al principio. Se empañan casi instantáneamente, no es posible nadar 25 metros porque ya se empañó. Esto, sumado al color de la silicona crea una sensación de visión bastante limitada. Yo la quería para nadar en piscina, la válvula permite exhalar por la nariz sin problema, e impide el paso del agua por ahí. Sin embargo, al aumentar el impulso, la máscara se abría por arriba y permitía la entrada del agua. Si no era mucha, se podía eliminar por medio de la válvula al exhalar por la nariz. Si era mucha, entonces se requería de mucho aire para lograrlo, lo que en varias ocasiones, por el esfuerzo me faltó, entonces el agua me empezó a entrar por la nariz y tuve que detenerme. El paso del aire a través de la válvula produce un ruido que a mi me pareció incómodo, pero al parecer no es molesto para la gente alrededor. Sentí que no me iba a adaptar y mejor la devolví. Definitivamente, fue la mejor decisión.
