If I could give this simple but effective item 10 stars I would. This item came in handy after updating two light fixtures that were imbedded in what seems to be over 15 years of paint. I used four pieces for each light fixture with plenty left over for other DIY jobs. As the packaging says no sanding, no spraying, no tools or skills needed and no mud...just peel, stick and pant and voila ...good as new.

We installed a new light fixture which left an ugly rim and small gaps, as the new fixture didn't cover the hole left by the old ceiling fan. I saw this product on line and thought I'd give it a try, as plastering seemed beyond my very limited DIY skill set. It was soooo easy, quick, and looked great when finished. One quick coat of the ceiling paint and I had a "perfect" installation with no gaps. I strongly recommend this.

These patches work well around existing fixtures to patch irregularities. Good product.

Super easy to use. The old farmhouse we bought had some pretty poorly installed can lights with gaps around them. This product has cleaned them up and with the white it matches our ceiling almost perfectly so no need to paint.👍🏻

This product worked perfectly. We replaced an old light feature and it was smaller that the previous one. This covered the hole, and once painted it looked great.

The product did cover the gap between the dry wall and the pot light. The strips are not as thin as expected. Thus their raised edge could be seen under the dried paint. Even with three coats of paint (white), we still had to apply mud again, sand down the surface to make it even with the ceiling and paint again. The final result was not exactly as promised, as per the YouTube video and the product advertisement. Unfortunately, the patch kit is not available in Canada. It costs 5 times as much on Amazon, as opposed to being able to buy it from HomeDepot.com - which does not ship to Canada.

I am an avid DIY. I had plaster in my home gutted it all out replaced with drywall. Yes it was terrible. Since I had the walls and ceilings down to the studs I decided to change all the wiring throughout my home and in the process I added a ton of can lights. Sometimes when cutting can lights out your roto zip will get away from u. B4 these I would cut another sheet I tried these they worked so good I couldn't believe it just stick it on mud over it primer paint wallah can't even tell as a matter of fact when I look at all the can lights I can't even remember which 2 I messed up on. I put in 21 cans all together 2 of them had bad cuts. These were definitely a time saver and they give u plenty.

Had a small gap between some flush mount ceiling fixtures. These did amazing to cover up that gap without being visible. Highly recommend.
