Steve McCurry is known for creating some of the most iconic images of recent times and in this new collection, he shares previously unseen photographs from his incredibly rich archive. contains blank pages which I don't understand
His photography is exceptional and the images second to none however the book contains entirely blank pages which to me look like a printing error. I contacted Mr McCurry's office who speculate that the blank pages act as chapter breaks . I'm sorry but I just don't see it . The blank pages just look odd . I have several of his other books none of which have the same . He is one of my favourite photographers and I certainly would encourage getting the book however I struggle to understand why so many blank pages

Disappointed ..Cheap print quality of photos
Was really looking forward to getting this book and viewing the photos. Perfect coffee table book. The book arrives and was impressed by the size of book. However , really disappointed with the quality of print ...all photos are grainy and lack clarity . Doesn’t do justice to the beautiful images taken... LooksLike a cheap print copy . I had to check that this wasn’t copy of the book and was authentic. Very dissapointed . 👎🏽

Wonderful work - as always BUT poor print quality...
When I unwrapped this book of Steve's book I was so excited... But, oh boy, the print quality really disappoints.. As a professional photographer myself I too have struggled with print quality. Reproducing Steve's images demands the very greatest care and accuracy if the full range of colour space is to be preserved and displayed on the page. I have contacted Steve's office to express my concern...

Ignore the negative review about print quality. They’re mistaken.
The print quality of this book is outstanding, as are each of the amazing images. The photos span a period from about 1981 to 2019. If you know anything about photography and Steve McCurry, you’ll know that many of these images would’ve been shot on film; likely 35mm film. What the negative reviewer has misidentified as poor print quality, is simply film grain. That’s especially evident when you enlarge a 35mm film image to the size of a coffee table book. That’s easy to forget when we’ve all been so accustomed to the pixel-perfect, over-processed digital images that clog up photo media today. This is an outstanding book especially if you appreciate Steve McCurry and iconic travel photography. My only complaint is that the book arrived with corner damage. Typical Amazon. Sad that a company that started with selling books no longer knows how to ship them.

Extremely satisfied.
Mr. McCurry does it again with a very strong collection of images. The binding, print quality and paper stock are what one would expect from a Steve McCurry book – excellent. There are some images that run across the gutter, but the book is large enough to be laid out quite flat, so the effect is minimal. Recommended for anyone who is interested in fine photography monographs.
