how much of the 5 litres is required to clean the saniflo, please?

We normally use a quarter of it unless totally blocked then maybe 1/2 turn the electric off and leave it overnight

my saniflo is connected to our kitchen sink and we do get bad smells is this product okay to use

Need to clean these things regularly. I clean mine once a month with Saniflo cleaner. Or other macerater cleaner
