A few years ago I received an earlier version of this gadget as a gift. It came in a nice presentation box and was solidly constructed. I enjoyed it for a number of years before it started to get harder to use and to my dismay, finally gave up the ghost . Then I found this one on Amazon and quickly ordered it. I would have paid a good deal more than the very reasonable asking price, but I knew I had to replace the broken one. The new one came with a little stand but no box (contrary to the image on its Amazon webpage) and seemed of rather flimsy construction. I wasn't pleased about the differences. And then I put it to its first test and all my misgivings vanished. It worked smoothly and easily, much better than the one I had worn out! So I'm very happy with this purchase, my only concern being how long it will last. Since it comes with a replacement corkscrew component, apparently the sellers aren't too confident about longevity either! I'd like to have given it five stars, but four is the best I can do for now. If it's still working as beautifully in a year, I'll come back here and give it the fifth star. My 20+ year old Screwpull finally broke, and I had to replace it. Screwpull no longer makes the very nice, all metal model I had, and given that this was about 1/3 the price of a new plastic Screwpull, I decided to give it a try. Long-term survival isn't yet clear, and this model is a lot flimsier than my old metal Screwpull, but it seems to get the job done, As a bonus, it seems to take the same screws as the Screwpull, so I was able to salvage the one from my broken unit, and the new one comes with a spare, so I now have two spares.

This works beautifully to easily pull a wine cork from the bottle! Love the function of the product. However, mine is falling apart. It was just purchased in July of 2017. It is flimsy in comparison to others I have seen since purchasing this one. There are pieces that keep falling off and it is difficult to store. Very bulky. But I will shop around to find another one that is a quality product. For the cost of this item I expected much more than I got! This product's quality is less than one star!

Works great! It's like the larger models, but it's a compact size, so you can fit it in a drawer, It also comes with a stand, so you can leave it out and handy if you have a party. Like - it's the best of both worlds. It's not intuitive, so instructions may be needed for your guests to use. But it's simple once you know how it works - and it works great and is easier than any other opener that i've owned. It comes with a foil cutter and an extra screw just in case. It's a great product!

Pretty junky for the price. My husband bought this good looking opener for me as a Christmas gift. The parts seem rickety and the corkscrew penetrated the cork off center making it a wonky withdrawal. The last two bottles I've tried opening with it, the corks got pushed down into the bottle before the corkscrew even penetrated the cork! Before you assume I was being a brute, I only used the hand strength needed to lower the lever to pierce the cork. I've only opened five bottles with it so far. I assumed it was a cheap opener until I saw how he paid over forty bucks for it! I've had better and am disappointed.

This is my second Rabbit Corkscrew, its an excellent product I love the easiness to open wine bottles with Cork Maestro, I recommend it to everybody.This version in silver color and is even better than the black I use to have because now is not plastic and it fells more resistant.

This wine bottle opener is the best I've ever used of this style. It comes with a small stand so I can leave it on the counter without having to cram it in a drawer, as well as an extra screw and a foil remover. It works beautifully and can easily remove the cork from the screw after the cork is pulled from the bottle. The customer service is the best thing about this opener. A personal email from the company ensures that you are completely satisfied. I highly recommend it.

The corkscrew works well and the presentation stand is nice. However, the foil cutter broke down with all the little parts falling off within two months. We did not use it a lot so it could not possibly be worn out. This is a quality problem.Update to the review: I updated the review to a five star because of the excellent customer service. Upon reading my review, Ropri Corporation emailed me expressing concern and sent me a new foil cutter. I just received it.
