Simple design and easy to configure. I used this to replace a 40 year old “watchman light” which turns on a small light when the temperature falls below a set limit. Our condo maintenance group monitors these and will inspect a unit if the heat fails. Very old school but effective!Only drawback is set points are in Centigrade so you have to convert F to C. No big deal.Seems solid and well built. Overkill for this application but I want it to last another 40 years!

I was struggling to keep my mom's suite (addition to my house) at a steady temperature that was comfortable for her. A portable space heater ("electric fireplace" style) and this plug-in thermostat work great. The knob temperatures aren't accurate, but I set it where it maintains a comfortable 77 degrees F for my mom. (Note that I also tried it with a portable space heater that has its own thermostat shut-off, and this device did not seem to work for that heater. It would shut off, but it couldn't cycle the heater back on once the temp dropped.) I'm keeping an eye on the plug to make sure it doesn't overheat and cause a fire hazard, but so far so good. I hope it continues to function as well as it is doing now!

I have only used for 2 days but so far it works for my purpose. I use it to turn my torpedo heater on and off when I'm working in my pole barn. My heater has a thermometer but is very inaccurate and does not do the job. I turn the thermostat all the way up on the heater and leave the on / off switch on and let this thermostat control the on and off. The settings seem relatively accurate but I adjust to my comfort preference. This is not digital, sometimes it seems to vary a few degrees with when it turns on and off. It does not have a live temperature reading which I would have liked. For me it does what I need it to do and at a reasonable cost.

Purchased this from Amazon in June 2022. Failed right out of the box - never worked. Amazon sent a replacement. Second unit worked great. Used it to turn on a fan in the garage when it got to hot. Turned on and off as it should.Now, after three summers, it is dead - does not work at all. I expected something like this should have lasted longer, but I guess in today's world, it might be par for the course.Got a third unit. Stopped working after 1 day.Uneven, poor quality. Aggravating.

I got an outdoor wood boiler and I was having a hard time figuring out how I was going to make a furnace area and install a thermostat and all that crap. Well I just thought to myself as long as I get the pump to kick on that’s all I need so looked up automatic thermostat not even plugged into the wall. Anyways, this worked perfect for me. I never had any issues out of it literally kept my house floating around 78-80° during the winter time. Super easy use. easy to install. Turn off. Value for money. readability.

I was looking for a product that would kick on heaters for my parents’ garage when the temperature dropped during frigid Chicago winters. We wanted something that was very easy to use and easy to adjust. This fit the bill! Just plug it into the wall, and plug the heater into it. It has a large-enough knob for my older parents to adjust themselves. I like the well-sized indicator light that shows whether the low temperature we set has been reached or not (red if not, green if so). I was able to watch it work well during my visit, as temperatures fluctuated. Great value for the money, excellent quality. I would definitely recommend.

I originally purchased this in August 2022. It is currently January 2025. I’ve got 2 1/2 years from it and it has performed well during every winter up to this point. I am ordering another one to replace it only because it is finally giving up and only working correctly approximately 90% of the time on the thermostat side of things and I need it to function properly 100% of the time to protect a water filtration system from freezing.Ultimately I highly recommend due to the longevity I received from the product.I use it to power on when it hits a specific temperature, then at that temperature, it turns on a space heater.
