How is this Sugar free when cane sugar is listed in the ingredients please?

Hi, the cane sugar is added to the green tea at the beginning of the fermentation process that eventually produces the kombucha. In this green tea is the scoby (symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast) - a key part of this mix. The scoby feeds on the cane sugar and this reaction creates the healthy acetic acids in kombucha and also carbonates the drink. The sugar is no longer there at the end of the process when the liquid is extracted and canned. As a result it is a sugar free drink. Cane sugar has to be mentioned as it is an ingredient of the process. Hope that helps. It is a great drink.
