Review: But love it so far - just got it. But love it so far. good design easy on the neck unlike most brand wears out one side of your neck. Review: pros and cons - The product is as described. It is lightweight, soft and very adjustable. I bought it for my 7 year old son. The swathe is a little wide for him, but still usable. There is velcro on both ends, so I had no trouble wrapping it tight enough to hold his arm. I can see this fitting an average size adult with no problem, but probably not someone very large. Others commented about the lack of instructions, but I didn't have any trouble figuring out how to use it. It works better when you crisscross the shoulder straps in back. I gave it 3 stars because it took longer to get here than expected. One of the reasons I bought it was because it said it had good airflow. It is very open, however, it is very warm. My son said it got very sweaty at school and he can't bear to wear the swathe that came with it very long because he just gets to hot. (We do live in a warm climate!) So maybe, it won't be to warm where it is colder. I should say that my son's arm is broken just below the shoulder and they don't put a cast on that. So its bare skin in the sling, this might not be such a problem for someone with a cast. Then too, the sling from the doctor is sewn closed on the end by the elbow so he can't slide his arm out, he has to lift it out of the sling. This is a good thing for him as he has to keep that arm in place. This sling is open at the elbow so the arm slides in and out really easy, so he must have the swathe on to make sure it stays where it is supposed too. Here again this might actually be a plus for someone in a cast.

Short Straps
Husband is 6' tall, average build. Pictures are deceiving with regards to strap length. Straps are too short to crisscross the straps in the back. Straps are short to where they tuck up close under his arms holding the sling too high. If you don't crisscross the straps, the straps tend to slide off the shoulder.

To small.
It may be a great sling if you are around 125 lbs. way too small for an XL person. Should have a size reference as to waist or bust size. Will have to modify the straps ans swat.

Looks funny but amazing
It feels weird and a little awkward to get on by yourself BUT once on your arm is in place

Like the material but...
My husband has a paralyzed arm due to a stroke and does not like to have it hang. This would be the perfect sling for him except it is not really designed for an average sized man. My husband is only 5'9", and 180 lbs and I had to bring the straps to full length in order to fasten them. Anyone taller or heavier would find it impossible to use. I am keeping it because it does hold his arm in a good position and I can help him get it on. It would not work if he had to put it on by himself. Also, the pocket is not adjustable, so if you have a larger forearm, it would probably not fit. My husband's just fits. I would say it would work best for a women or man under 5'6" with a small build.

it was not as sturdy as I expected
First, no instructions were included and we weren't sure if we were using it correctly. Second, it was not as sturdy as I expected. It is very lightweight. Lastly , although I liked the price . I felt it wasn't what I needed to make sure my arm and shoulder were we'll protectes.
