Makes a Good Morning Brew
We enjoyed Starbucks Kenya but no longer available near us in the USA. We usually pick up a couple of bags if in Europe. This medium dark roast brewed in the MochaMaster makes a great start to the day. Not bitter, not as robust as the Colombian we get at Costco. I can’t comment on floral notes or yada yada. Not at all disappointed, will probably buy again.

I love Kenyan coffee. It’s my favorite. So imagine my excitement when I opened this bag of “Fresh Roasted Coffee” and discovered what appears to be a crime scene involving beans. These things were oily as …., over-roasted, and tasted like they’d been sitting on a shelf since the invention of indoor plumbing. Fresh? Sure. And I’m secretly Batman. Kenyan coffee should have bright, complex flavor. This tasted like someone took perfectly good beans, roasted the living …. out of them, then forgot about them for six months. I’ve had fresher coffee from a gas station that looked like it needed an exorcism. One star. And honestly, the star is for the packaging. The coffee itself needs to be taken out back and given a Viking funeral.

Steady customer for this coffee for years. Only beef has been sometimes bag ziplock on individual packages is defective or hard to close properly.
