I was a little leery about buying these molds because I thought throwing to get the candy out of them was not going to be easy. Boy was I wrong. Let them get good and cold and they pop right out. Just tap them on something. And the best part is because they area a hard plastic and not a flimsy plastic they won’t crack easy. Love them.

I recently used this polycarbonate chocolate mold for making homemade chocolates, and overall, it’s been a great addition to my kitchen. The quality of the mold is fantastic — it’s sturdy, durable, and the polycarbonate material feels solid. It’s easy to work with, and the smooth surface ensures that the chocolates release well once they’re set, leaving behind a nice, even finish. The designs are clear and nice, and while not overly intricate, they create beautiful chocolates that look professional. The mold’s size is also perfect for making a batch of chocolates at once, which is great for gifting or parties. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a couple of small issues. First, the cleaning process can be a little tricky — getting into the smaller corners requires some extra care, especially if any chocolate gets stuck. A quick soak helps, but it's something to consider. Additionally, after a few uses, I’ve noticed some slight scratching on the surface, which affects the finish of the chocolates just a tiny bit. It doesn’t impact functionality, but it’s something to keep in mind if you're aiming for perfectly pristine molds every time. Overall, this mold is an excellent choice for home chocolatiers. It’s affordable, reliable, and works well for creating beautiful chocolates. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to get into chocolate making or upgrade their current molds!

Great professional poly carbonate molds for easily creating bon bons. Strong sturdy and easy to clean.

If I could give 0 I would have. Horrible Horrible Terrible!!! Do not buy unless you want to be scraping micro plastics outta your expensive chocolate. I just waisted half a bag of 823 callebaut before I realized what was happening. As my assistant showed me I completely tripped out. Little pieces of plastic were scraping off and you can see it. I’m horrified because of the health and safety concerns of eating micro plastics and realizing I already sent orders out to my customers and am now going to have to refund all of them so my conscious is clear. I’m attaching photos and I am returning them. The scrapper that came with the set is really harsh and sharper then needed with defects and sharp edges that seem to make a deeper cut into the plastic. These are very very very cheap. Health risk. None buy unless you don’t mind eating plastic. I’m attaching pictures. I’m freaking out morally and now going to be financially set back from having to refund orders so I can’t sleep at night.

The polycarbonate is not as thick as in other candy molds I have, but the price reflects that. I will just have to be mindful of that as I care for them. The biggest negative is that the manufacturing injections for the mold is on the top and every mold has 2 little nobs that stick up just enough to prevent a smooth scraping of the fillings. We have been able to carefully break off the nobs, but there is still an indent and collects chocolate that will be very difficult to keep clean. Chocolates came out easily and nicely tempered though. It would have given these fewer star rating but the price was about half that of other molds.

I am happy with this product for my chocolate making. There are a nice bit size chocolate and the polycarbonate molds are usually a lot more expensive than these were.

The quality is average, compared to other models I bought, this is relatively thin, can only say that you get what you pay for, if you want to use it frequently for a long time is not a good choice
