being a Prime member this really worked for me because the value for the money of sending it to my son in college was perfect. He enjoyed the quality and the ingredients and he likes his spiciness so I worked good for him. Individual packages are versatile for him so when he needs to have a quick meal at school, it works perfect perfectly for him.

My new favorite ramen
I've found my new favorite chili ramen. I'd been buying Nissin Top Ramen (Chili Flavor) because it's delicious and nicely spicy and, unlike most or all Maruchan offerings (including their Oriental and Chili flavors), it's actually vegetarian. (Yes, Maruchan ramen tends to have beef products in it even if it appears to be an entirely meat-free flavor.) When I told a friend that ramen was one of the staples of my diet, she told me it has basically no nutritional value (I kinda knew that, but hey, that's what vitamin supplements are for! lol), so I decided to look and see if maybe there was a more nutritionally valuable ramen out there. I don't much believe this ramen is that - the physical product gives every appearance of being the same as Nissin or Maruchan. But Ramen Express's noodles seem to be of a slightly higher quality - the mouthfeel has a smoothness and uniformity to it that makes me think so - and it's still nice and spicy and quite delicious while creating a slightly less rich broth, which is to my personal liking; I used to use less than the full contents of the spice packets because the other brands' broth seemed a bit over the top (no pun intended ;). And, like Top Ramen, it's vegetarian. *And* it does seem to have a shorter ingredient list containing fewer chemical-looking names.I may keep looking for a more "authentic" ramen (if there is such a thing), or I may just start adding in more veggies and other things to make Ramen Express ramen more nutritious. But this is definitely an improvement (in my opinion) over the two most common brands.I was only disappointed in the shipping: Amazon shipped me a flat that looked like it had been run into with a forklift (and the outer shipping box was undamaged and this kind of bashage could not have happened while the flat was in an undamaged box...which means some sequence of careless people knowingly picked and shipped a badly damaged product), so that I get a lot of short, broken noodles in most bowls. But that's on Amazon and not the manufacturer. The product itself is quite satisfactory and I recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative (and possibly a somewhat healthier one) to Nissin and Maruchan. ๐๐ป

They're ok
So I've been eating the maruchan chili noodles for a super long time but they are hard to find or are expensive, so I tried these. They're good but they won't replace the maruchan chili brand. These aren't as flavorful, they're spicy but that doesn't equate to flavor. So I'd rather pay a little extra and wait a little longer and get the maruchan brand. Again, these aren't bad! They're just not as good!

Almost acceptable! Taste great, convenient, inexpensive HOWEVER questionable ingredient(s):
I purchase these, however limit my intake. The least ideal ingredient is tripolyphosphate. In short EWG (*Environmental Working Group) rates this artificial food and cleaning additive a "D" which on a traditional scale is one from the very worst. I think that this is perhaps an overly harsh grade, as it is a salt (synthetic one though), so obviously the heart disease related illnesses are expected if eaten in excessive quantities (what is excessive). This is also reflected in the fact that EWG is still using its older grade rating system with only 5 levels whereas their newer more in-depth rating system has 11 levels. For those curious about the less known 2 ingredients, Disodium Inosinate and Disodium Guanylate are both rated at a 1 for "Fair" at EWG which is only one off from their best rating. Of course one could not use the seasoning packet and avoid the worst of these ingredients. Less than ideal, but an option. The other option is to literally spend 5 times as much and get the healthier organic brands. Tough to get ahead and stay healthy. Best of luck.Even if they had to charge a bit more, I'd happily purchase these more often, in greater quantity and consume them more frequently!

Excellent version of Ramen!
It is a very delightful Ramen version that is both vegetarian and spicy. This has become my go to version of Ramen and works very well on its own or in a stir fry or a soup. The texture and taste are great.

Excellent product!!!
I love this Ramen. If you love spicy, you will definitely love this Ramen. I always add several vegetables to my ramen, and it was too spicy for a couple of friends of mine, but for me and some other friends, it was perfect.

bad reseller - good product
I really enjoy Ramen Express/Chef Woo ramen, but this order was terrible. some of the packages had over 50% of the noodles broken and it appears that the best buy date is Sept 2023. Almost 3 years ago.I'm testing them out to see if spice packages are still ok.Over all the times I have ordered these noodles on Amazon, each order, regardless of the reseller many of the packages have crushed noodles. This time was by far the worst.
