Turtle Dock - Stainless Steel Basking Platform for Turtles (L)

We've been using a floating turtle dock for a while but the turtle is big enough (over 6 inches) to break the suction so the thing was always floating around the tank making it hard for the turtle to climb on. This one attaches securely. No more suction cup problems, gives him a nice ramp to claw up and holds his weight great! Wish we had found it sooner.

So far I’m happy with this buy. Tt is 10yrs old. She has really enjoyed being able to fit on top of there and slides off. However, I noticed her claws get stuck and I also don’t like how it sticks out on the bottoms she scrapes her shell a lot on those polls underneath. If ya know how to alter things I’d say this is worth it 😉Update. I finally added some turf tot his dock.tied it down with zip ties. One of her claws had got stuck and tore out. I could tell my poor girl was in pain. So y’all need to do this. It cost $10 here on Amazon

I really liked this Turtle Dock. The only problem we had was that the end, that hangs over the top of the tank, isn't adjustable. We made it work, but if it were adjustable to the edge width, it would be perfect.

Got this for my turtle, I tried securing it as much as possible but my turtle was still able to knock it down.

The product itself is solid! Im just sad I cant make it work with my tank. The arm hooks for the top of the tank are only an inch wide so they dont fit over the tank, Im going to have to bend the metal to fit. Thats the only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars. The platform is stellar but this is made to hook over a tank with no barrier at the top fyi

I needed to redo my pixie frogs water area, he got upgraded to a 75g from a 40g last year and was just not enjoying his deep 20g water area, so I had to redo it and modify it with a 10g plastic bin. I did have to snip, file, and add silicone to the adjustment bars to fit in it.But now he spends 95% of his week in the water sitting on this ramp. He does use it to get in and out, but also uses it to just soak in the water where he can just sit there. He does get into the water for a dunk too.My frog would give this a 20/5 if he could.

Such a shame because I had very high hopes for this one. I paid for the larger size. The hooks are too small for my tank and I also have three turtles. I had to use pliers to bend the hooks so that I could get the thing to hook onto the side of the tank.Even in then with three turtles the platform was way too small. Also for some reason the turtles kept biting on the netting material which is a big no no for me so I ended up having to take it out of the tank. This one will go back and I’ll have to spend extra money on something bigger.
