Garden Leaf Grabbers Long Handled Heavy Duty | Leaf Collector Grabber Rake

I am lucky enough to have a house that backs onto mature tress including 3 chestnut trees, 2 large British Limes and an elm. Most of the year I love them but come October/ November I curse them as I spend my weekends raking leaves and taking bags to the local waste centre. I have just spent this weekend clearing leaves with the Clear N Collect. It works really well, saves me bending down all the time and was also good for picking up large piles of leaves in amongst the beds. I still used a normal wire rack to create piles of leaves and the Clear N Collect made short work of putting the piles into bags. Is it a bit expensive for what it is? Possibly in term of the pure raw material cost but someone also had to come up with the idea, make a load of prototypes and get actual production up and running. I reckon I’m paying for how well it works as much as what comes in the box.

Well worth the money whatever it costs.

I bought this multi-purpose garden grabber for collecting hedges clippings, leaves and grass cuttings. It was assembled within minutes. The wooden handles are strong with a good grip. The hinged calms are large yet lightweight; it is only able to cope with light items. I did not find it practical to use the grabber as a ‘rake’ as its teeth are not strong enough to survive the pressure of repeatedly moving across surfaces. Though proper use of the grabber requires a little practice, it is a handy tool that can also pick up small pieces of tree limbs. It is overpriced, but I recommend it.

These are a must for any gardener… they do exactly what they say… rake and collect With the added bonus of not having to keep bending down, they do give your wrists a work out after a while though, but this is my second set after wearing my last set out (I’m a professional gardener)

A good product… I thought. But now I’ve used it. I’m not so sure. The handles don’t seem to be in the right place. I’m only 5ft 2in but even for me… It was a bit back breaking and I still had to bend down to hold the box closed a few times

I shifted 10 x 120 litre containers of leaves with this rake. It was so quick and easy to use removing the usual stress on my back. Fantastic tool for the money. Highly recommend it. I can't believe how excited this rake made me. I must be old and sad.

My Clear N Collect Garden Rake arrived today and I am so impressed with this amazing product. I have an acre of mature woodland and an enormous amount of leaves fall each year. I had been putting off lifting the leaves this year, as it is a back-breaking task. I blew all the leaves into a large mound today and it only took an hour to lift them all with the Clear N Collect rake, and put them into rubble bags, and without much effort. The Clear N Collect is light, but study and robust, and easy to use. It is an amazing product. I only wish I had invented it. 😁

I find this a very useful tool in the garden. Picks up tons of leaves with ease. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is you have to screw the pole in (after you put the wooden poles in the plastic base to secure it), and I found this too hard to screw securely as need brute force I think, and so it’s not screwed in well so the poles move when I’m trying to lift to eject the leaves in my green bin. I will have to get a strong man to rescrew them in as very annoying as keeps twisting mid job 🙈 apart from that I’m very pleased and glad I brought it. Saves my back.

Where has this product been all my life? Incredibly easy to use and so much more efficient than the old school rake--saves tons of time. Highly recommend! Great holiday gift for the father-in-law.

I liked what it does the handles are a little short and it doesn’t pick up very much at a time. But it does pick up grass which is why I bought it.

I liked the design but in real use it’s not sturdy and picks up less leaves then the add photos it a huge disappointment since I need something to pick up lots of leaves. If someone has few leaves this might work. I tried it with wet then dry leaves same issue it opens wide but then you cannot grab that many leaves so you have to work harder I also have to hold it at an odd angle for pick up. Not for me.

expected plastic sturdiness

I'm not one to write reviews but am so disappointed in this product. It's very flimsy and the handles are short and difficult to handle. Unfortunately I didn't open the box right away and the return time has expired. Will be out for trash pick up!
