GE Relax HD LED A19 General Purpose Light Bulbs, 75W Replacement, 2 Pack

These made a huge difference in my lighting. Turned garish white light of previous bulbs into a comfortable soft light. I just bought more.

Finally an LED bulb that doesn't glare.

I like the color of these bulbs. I had been buying "warm white" thinking that would give my house a "warm" kind of yellowish lighting atmosphere. Boy was I wrong. Turns out I really needed "soft white." I am really happy since I made that discovery (something everyone else on the planet apparently already knew). These bulbs are dimmable, which is a bonus.

Update a day later: I've now had this bulb in our living room lamp for the past day of use. Tonight I went to dim it down and noticed that it started a really fast (120hz) flicker when it was dimmed. Only at full brightness I don't see any flicker. Original Review: Our older EcoSmart 1600 lumen bulbs were going bad, so we tried the GE Relax 1600 lumen first. Even though they were equally bright, they didn't dim down as much as the EcoSmart and was too bright as the lowest setting. So we decided to try these GE Relax 1100 lumen bulbs. Even though these aren't quite as bright as the 1600 lumen bulbs, I was surprised that these bulbs can dim all the way down to 1% and basically look off. I've never had an LED headlight that can dim this low before (most are 5% or 10%).

Nice color temperature!

These are energy efficient and the right warmth for our living area, but they only lasted 3 months in our kitchen. No where near what is advertised on the package, not by a decade. Absolutely pathetic performance. The old incandescent bulbs lasted for a year or two, these are a piece of junk. I bought them on September 15th, and first bulb blew on December 9th.

These give off the perfect amount of light I need.

I bought 2 60 watt almost 8 years ago. I used these in my bedroom and were left on at least 12 hours per day; these bulbs really do last. I tried two other brands of bulbs and all were too bright/commercial feel even though they were also "soft white." Maybe I got spoiled with the quality of these bulbs since I had them for 8 years. These bulbs are on the higher price spectrum but definitely worth it.

Softer but bright lighting. A nice alternative to 100 w bulbs.

Excellent source of light with the 75 Watt. Run relatively cool, Adnvage that you can use in an enclosed fixtureuse less power and over time save money. Old type lamps used a filiments as a source of lighting power these are constructed with Diodes using less energy and providing a greater source of light. Suggestion: There are brands out there, most of them using Plastic. G.E Relax Uses Glass, which is superior. Incidentally I have installed all these lamps in my residence with a lower wattage, preferring Soft White, warmer and much easier on the eyes
