Winthome Changing Bath Robe, Surf Poncho Towel with hooded

I've just started sea swimming in preparation for an organised event and am really glad I got this changing robe - it makes life so much easier. I especially like the big sleeves which are easy to get your arms out of and inside the main body so you can put on more fiddly items. It's also surprisingly absorbent for synthetic fibre. I was able to get the beautiful mint green colour at a bargain price but had to get the larger size which is really a bit too big for me - if I was buying again I'd size down. But overall I'm really pleased with this lovely robe.

Perfect! Beautifully made, very roomy so as to bring your arms out if sleaves to get dressed. Thick fully absorbing micro fabric..much better than those thin micro fibre towels. Soft material, open side pocket and a zipped side pocket. Length below knee, 3/4 sleave length. Size Ms..there was no M perfect n roomy im F size 18 5'7. Colour dark charcoal very classy. Great for snuggling up, going camping, wearing instead of typical dressing gown. And for everyday shower! I use it for outdoor swimming, n if its raining i have a trek poncho which fits perfectly over it....saving mkney on a dryrobe for now! So glad i took my time searching for a changing robe...as i couldnt be more pleased. 100% i will buy again.

I got this for using after my sea swims - it's quite big and has plenty of room to change and is warm too. As far as drying goes, I don't find it that great and still need to use a towel. The microfibre makes it a bit clingy so it sticks to you. The dye loss is ridiculous! Please, don't put anything in with it - I've had it nearly 2 months and still the dye loss is extensive. I put it in with my cream towel and 2 colour catchers after about a month of 3 weekly washes - I now have a blue towel. My other slight niggle is regarding design - one side has a slit at waist height, great for changing, but the other side has a zipped pocket - too small to be useful, but as a result totally defeats the point of the slit to help pull your clothes up, especially when you're damp from the sea. Two slits would be so much better to the point I'm considering altering it, cutting out the useless pocket and making it better as a change robe. In conclusion, it's ok, I wouldn't buy again, yes it dries quickly as it's microfibre, but being microfibre it's clingy and weird feeling and very bulky. Next time I'll buy a towelling changing robe

I bought this for when I'm swimming outdoors in Cumbria. It's great. The fabric is towel-like, soft and very absorbent. I'm 5'6'', but bought the XL as it's longer and I wanted to be able to get out of my wet things, dry off and into my dry things while staying as warm as possible and not flashing everyone. It's perfect for this. I'm able to change much quicker than when I was fiddling with a microfiber towel, which is important now we are entering cooler weather. Mine weighs 1040g, which is fine for the distances I walk into my swims. On the downside, It's a bit bulky ... but it is the XL. I did look at the more expensive drying robes which have waterproof outers. When balancing cost and what I really needed from the drying robe, this was a more pragmatic choice for me. I'm very happy with it.

This is extra wide ( X-Large one). It washed well and does as it say. It’s a bit heavy but to be expected given size. Good quality. Very happy with it. It came vacuum packed so not a large parcel. I would recommend product.

I bought for a camping trip, but use it all the time at home. The robe is loose fitting and comfortable. Very happy with this purchase, highly recommend.

It is practical for the purpose but be careful when washing as the color (red in this case) bleeds a lot.

Haven't used yet but quality and size as described. Feels as though it will be absorbent, soft to touch so give it a go!

Superbe, reçu très rapidement; la couleur bleue est rès belle et la qualité du tissu éponge est suffisante; on verra pour le séchage, à l'usage. C'est exactement ce que je cherchais. Je recommande. Il manque juste une poche ventrale, ce serait pratique.

Très contente de mon achat il m'a bien servi pour les 4 semaines de camping la pochette 1 +. Il tient bien chaud et éponge bien le corps.

It may be a personal preference, but the thick microfiber material felt gross to touch. And it also kind of made me feel suffocated the way it has so much material on the hood in the neck area. The hood is too big. I think the design flaw is in the hood area. Too much material. It would totally keep you warm for winter surfing. But you might feel suffocated and not want to touch it. Also, the large size is massive. I wanted to like it so much but I ended up returning if for the above mentioned reasons I could not get past.

Chinese low tier quality, arrived with one of the pockets not finished - basically a hole instead of a pocket. Quite heavy and not very compact, so not ideal if you plan to take it travelling with you. Will be returning.
