melasta 6V 2000mAh NiMH RX Receiver Battery 2-Pack for RC Airplanes

I purchased the two pack to see if these would work in my G Scale locomotive, rail car and passenger train(Christmas) music and locomotive sounds, and railroad sounds sound systems. I had to apparently void their warranty because the connector had to be changed on the batteries. Changed out the connectors to an interlocking connector system that the OEM connectors weren't capable of, which allowed them to sometimes separate and disconnect the battery, which is utilized for keeping sounds constant, and for startup and shutdown sounds from the locomotives and ‡sfx sound cars. It also allows the music, instrumental song that is currently playing in the Christmas train to finish and end the song playing when power is removed. These batteries were a perfect replacement for the OEM batteries that are no longer manufactured any longer. These batteries are slightly larger(longer) than the OEM battery, but still fit without modification to the locomotive fuel tank that houses the speaker, battery and volume control for the sound system. I'm very glad I found these batteries, and the train sound card also recharges the battery as the train runs along the layout. So far these are working just as well as the OEM battery that was installed and was no longer recharging or allowing the sound system to function properly without a functional battery. I will definitely be buying more of these batteries and modifying them for my old '97 Phoenix Sound Systems installed in my G Scale trains. I had been searching for replacement batteries for the original PowerSonic Model PS-605 6V 0.5A rechargeable batteries and these RC Batteries worked out perfectly for my needs with a little modification of changing their connectors. I can recommend these batteries, they worked for what I needed them for and were cheaper than one OEM newer model replacement with less Ah run time! Note: ‡sfx = Special Effects Sounds, this generates rail clickety clacks, brake and wheel squeals, air sounds and other sounds railcars make as they travel along railroad corridors on their metal(steel) rails.

I have a charger that calculated the mah, and batteries are as stated! Solid choice in my book! I use these on rc receivers!

I fly radio controlled model airplanes. Some of my 'vintage' models use these type of battery packs. I needed to replace the packs on two of my planes. These packs are normally expensive when compared to the new LIFE packs which I normally use. BUT, because of the way these two airplanes were built, there was no room for the LIFE packs. I am pleased with my purchase and recommend them and his seller.

These batteries are better than the ones I have purchased from R/C suppliers the last few years. The voltage doesn't drop as quickly as the others. I am using them in a R/C plane.

I haven't used them yet so I gave it 4 stars, everything looks good. I did like the adapter for use with a Lipo battery for a receiver in my RC airplane.

Love these! They snugly fit in my JR XG-6 transmitter after scraping out some small plastic parts. Hold charge well and are overall very easy in use. Satisfied with this product. It's a very good deal also in terms of price.

Man these guys make a great product and the company's support is second to none. I have purchased over 6 of these rx battery packs and they work better than the leading brands in the hobby store at half the cost. I need more time to evaluate them but they seem ok after the first charge. A battery needs to be charged several times to determine how it keeps the charged at the nominal voltage especially with load. So far so good
