Sintech worked whilst Voila Reve didnt
The procedure are used was slightly different than the method shown in instructions. This is because I originally purchased a Voila Reve adapter and wanted to try absolutely every option before sending the Voila Reve back. The sun tech works and contains the two screw drivers you need to do the job . I had already purchased a P5 1.2 and T screw drivers to use with the Voila Reve because that one didnโt come with the correct one to open the MacBook Air 2017.I did make a bootable drive on a usb stick and loaded it onto my new P3 crucial (with I first put in an Orico drive enclosure and formatted in disc manager . ) After Monterey running on the P3 drive I used an external timemachine to put the data on the P3. Running the new ssd externally made me confident all was working . I simply put it in the Sintech adapter popped it in machine after disconnecting battery and reconnecting battery afterwards . Donโt forget to ground yourself on a radiator before touching anything inside MacBook . Apologies for any typos here . Phone screen very cracked and canโt see half of screeenโฆnext job

MacBook pro working again!
Thankfully this piece of tech meant my mid 2015 MacBook Pro was saved when the original Apple SSD failed. The adapter meant that I could install a new crucial PCIe in place of the old one and once the OS was installed and files transferred from a Time Machine back I was back up and running. Definitely worth the purchase.

MacBook Pro Mid 2015 install
This has been in for about a week now and has been working really well and it's nice to have space back again on the MacBook Pro.I tested this against my friends 2017 MacBook Pro and with the Sabrant NVME installed this laptop is now faster than his when using the blackmagic speed test app on the drive.So would recommend this if your needing an upgrade.
