Perfect size, very comfortable.
Perfect size for my thumb. Experienceing trigger thumb and really helps stabilize the first knuckle. I just wish they would use a darker color for the Velcro strap. The white strap shows dirt to easily. Purched black Velcro cable ties to replace the white ones.

Buy these if you have a 10 year old with a broken thumb
My 10 year old (going on 11) broke his thumb. These were a MUST because the doctor gave us 1...yes ONE total. I did use a wrap (bought separately) to help keep them on because he is so active. I would when wrap it around the thumb and wriast. The splints were great. They would discolor on the inside (foam part). They would also bend too after repeated us. I think we had 9 in rotation, plus the 1 from the doctor. My son plays hard (beach, pool, etc.) so we needed that man so they could dry out. We event used them at amusement parks too. I am so thankful they sold these on Amazon because they were a MUST for his thumb healing process.

Works Perfect!
I severed the fingertip to the first knuckle 3 days ago. The Ortho clinic gave me a splint that fell right off after a simple adjustment to the Velcro for finger ROM exercises and kept falling off no matter what I did. I ordered this PDQ and adjusted the end a bit to make room for the bulbous swollen stump. It works perfectly, no complaints. Glad I have 3 to change out when they get dirty or wet. EDIT: Like the previous reviewer mentioned, the Velcro sticks to everything and it gets pulled off. When you wrap it around it only goes so far, so the side that does the catching is exposed, so it's constantly getting moved or flung off. I adjusted it by removing the Velcro, pulling out the foam at the top and then bending the thin metal to be more round. This enabled me to be able to close the main part tighter to my finger and it holds on without the Velcro. I took away a star because of the Velcro and having to modify it

Great for mallet finger injury
Nice surprise that the product arrived in blue aluminum. Need to wear for 12 weeks and find this splint comfy, aluminum is bendable so can be adjusted to not rub on joints that need to bend. I use with bandaids and invisible surgical tape for extra hold and comfort. The plastic splints doc provided are also helpful but not as comfy at joint bend and tends to slide off.

Just the Thumb, and No Wrist Contraption ...
... is what I needed and this is what I got. Most thumb braces, while still effective, have a hold wrist system in place and it gets too hot and too cumbersome. This is easy to fit with a single small velcro strap and the metal casing gives you great protection. Go low profile while you're healing and pick these up.

Junk!!!
It is just junk. A waste of money and time. More crap to go in a landfill. And a complete waste of my time. It is thin, cheap aluminum that bends too easily, and the cushioning is too thin making it very uncomfortable. And the very worst thing about this crappy product is the velcro straps they provide; anything they touch gets stuck to it and it pulled treads on two blouses I wore and on a nice pillow. Pretty much anything that touches it will end up on the velcro and it turns black like it is dirty. Take it from me, spend the extra money to get a decent product. Me...lesson learned. :(
