I love being able to carry my light pad around without being tethered to a usb power supply. That a small annoyance & eventually most usb connections get too loose due to usage. I use a set of recharging batteries which work really well. It’s nice & bright. Only 2 things to improve - there is 3 light settings w/o being able to adjust them (no dimming steps). Also, the battery case screws on so it’s a minor annoyance to when you need to replace them. However, for the portability, I’ll deal with the inconvenience. I use this for drawing, weeding vinyl, cutting & aligning precise sewing patterns, embossing paper crafts, jewelry crafting, a desk, etc. The light pad gets a lot of abuse but has held up well. I haven’t seen any defects from all my projects. It’s thicker than some other brands but very light. Price point was great & if the manufacturer reads this, please make a version that doesn’t have screws on the battery compartment PLEASE!!!

Works great, but wish it had a stand to tilt it while using it.

It's amazing how much this light helps with weeding vinyl. The lowest setting is pretty bright so I always use that one. There are 2 brighter settings if I ever need them. It is a nice thickness and very lightweight. I also love that it is a USB port plug in or I can use batteries.

I really love how bright the light on the pad is. It makes it easier to weed vinyl, especially small areas. The light pad is lightweight and very portable. Great purchase!!!

Bought this for wedding vinyl, although it does help some what, you see the lines on your backing more than your cut lines

I love my cricut and a love creating on it, but I loathe weeding (taking out those tiny peices of vinyl from a design). This light pad has been a godsend! It helps me so much to tell where the cuts are and where the pieces that need to come up are. It is the perfect size for a mat sized project (11.5 by 11.5) and to store in the shelves near my desk. I was also able to use to to trace a design for my daughter onto paper, and to help line up work on multiple sheets easily. The price and quality can't be beat!

I love my light pad!!! I had a hard time seeing what I was weeding out of my vinyl. And I saw Cricut made one but ridiculous price so I tried it and it was totally worth it.
