Great quality
Bought as a prank to put in my friend couch. It has worked great and is perfect. The different sounds are amazing and they are annoying.

Best joke device I’ve seen in years!
This is amazing. A piece of tape, a hidden spot, and with a couple different sounds, you can drive your friends and family crazy! I enjoyed endless hours of entertainment after hiding it in the room of a friend. They thought there was a magical cricket in there! Six months, and the battery still didn’t quit!

Best office prank ever!
Where to start...I purchased this to prank my office staff. The ladies in the office are a ton of fun, always joking around and having fun, and absolute rockstars at their jobs. They're meticulous and detail oriented, not much gets by them...The kind of environment you enjoy working in, work hard play hard. Enter the little tiny noisemaker. I hid it in a decoration located centrally between the 3 offices, but closer to 2 of them with the beep muffled ever so slightly by it's hiding place. The hiding place was key, due to the short duration of the beep which sounds like a smoke detector alert, it makes the sound very non-directional and hard to pinpoint. That combined with the logic in the board that guarantees there's no rhyme or reason to the frequency of the alert made for the perfect 2 week run of mayhem. It started out as a minor annoyance, but the search escalated quickly. I of course helped them look for the mystery beep, pulling down smoke detectors, checking batteries, unplugging appliances that might possibly be the source. Nothing seemed to help. I checked in with them periodically to see if the noise had abated and even suggested a couple times that they may just be imagining the beep. They started recording the times that it would beep, to try to decipher a pattern that might lead to solving the mystery. I encouraged and supported their efforts the whole time, being as helpful as I possibly could! I announced my prank in the weekly company meeting which got a ton of laughs, and am now walking on pins and needles because I know retribution is coming my way...100% worth it! Do not use this on someone if you're not prepared for them to plot revenge. I can verify that the beeping is as random as could be for anyone that needs to explore their diabolical side, this is a great way to go. 5 stars, highly recommend.

Longest on-going prank ever
Just got a call from my sister. She lives out of state. We planted this thing in her car back in July when she visited. It’s been over a month and she just happens to call about an unrelated thing and it went off when we were talking. She freaked out and said she was going to try to record that sound and show it to the car dealership that she was on the way to now to figure out why it was going off. I told her to cancel the appointment. Turns out her and her husband have spent this entire time freaking out about something being wrong with the car and spending hours researching to figure out what it may be. Apparently they went and had the car serviced and still couldn’t figure it out. We also used it when we had my sister in law house sit to drive them crazy - they made the unfortunate accident of giving it back. And again when my mom moved in to her new house and they thought something was wrong with their dryer. Best $13 ever.

Works as described. Become hated in the office or at home!
Fun for wherever you want to cause mischief and mayhem. Home, the office, your friend's car, random stores, wherever! I got cussed out several times over this wonderful device. The only downside I had was my dad went around the house and replaced all the batteries in the smoke detectors so I went out and bought new ones for him after coming clean, lol. Also, DO NOT bring in your luggage on flights - TSA does NOT find this prank device very funny and you WILL be delayed at best. Small size makes it able to hide this thing just about anywhere. The random delay between chirps makes it almost impossible to find. I've used it several times now and it has worked every time. Also the battery life so far seems correct, though I need to try a longer period to test this aspect. So far worth every penny!

Perfect
Works well. I mainly bought this "passive agressive" device for a comparison to what id like to build. Its a little too big but it's nice and loud with a very realistic cricket sound and reasonable battery life . I have since built something similar with a Microchip processor, but yes it can be made smaller without sacrificing sound volume or longevity. That cricket sound is hard to duplicate though. An improved version should allow a full day of silence before it starts to work, just so that it becomes less obvious who might have put it there.

Best money you’ll ever spend
This clever little device drove my boss crazy for over a solid two weeks. The best part is that the sounds you pick is random, so it can go off roughly 4-40+ mins apart (I believe). I choose the cricket noise and hid it up in the dash beneath the steering wheel. My boss was going to have his truck detailed to find it (before he got lucky and found it himself). Worth the money, absolutely hilarious!

Slightly disappointed about the level of annoyingness.
Not that I have a great suggestion, I just feel like there needs to be a Nuclear-option for an annoying sound for really special cases. The cricket is pretty good, but I can't help but think there is something better out there.
