Ican Icelandic Wild Cod Liver in Own Oil, 4.06 oz (Pack of 6)

This may seem gross to you if you haven't tried it, but I have been a health-food and seafood lover all my life and a Youtuber alternative health doc that I really like extolled the virtues of this product, which is super full of the Omega 3 oils that are so healthy (wich I drinbk too). I really enjoy the taste, its much like perpared salmon but melt-in-your-mouth softer. Look up some recipes on the 'net like cod liver egg salad...I often just make my own recipes using mayo, brown mustard, spices and chopped up fermented pickles. One thing to know, it doesn't sit well overnight in the fridge, so plan to consume the entire can the day you open it. This is one of those deals where I considered not reviewing but I don't want their sales to slump to where I can't find it on AMZN later:)

Tasty and nutritious cod liver. Nice to have for easy and quick meals. Can is full of actually liver. Oil is a nice addition for salads too. Easy to open.

These are delicious and tastes fresh. I've purchased these a few times before and they seem to be of good quality. They are a very healthy for the body. I had no issues with the oil content. I highly recommend.

Pleasantly surprised with the delicate texture and taste. I wish it did included more cod liver, but the size is ok. The quality is excellent. It has plenty of rich omega 3 oil. The smell isn’t bad at all. Nothing strange about the color. This was a recent first time purchase and I have since reordered. I plan on ordering again in the future. You get what you pay for. Great product.

These taste much better than you'd think. With a bit of mayo and hard boiled egg, on toast, they're not just healthy, they're actually delicious. The texture is very soft and delicate.

Wow. I so love this and so glad to have settled on the ICan brand. There’s so many to choose from but this came recommended by Dr. Berg’s channel on YouTube. The tins I purchased came shipped in a thin Amazon plastic bag and luckily were not dented. Luck of the draw I guess compared to some of the negative reviews. 🤷 It’s funny because I was talking about cod livers with my family and everyone warned me because they were thinking of the cod liver oil the older generations used to torment the children. It’s not like that at all. If anything there is in fact a creamy texture that is familiar with a pâté or something of a foie gras spread you’d see at a swanky party. I had this with an artisan cracker and would have been happy to accompany with some Brie and a nice drink. For me this was supposed to be/is simply a food for added nutritional value but wow this cod liver dresses up the outcome a bit. Will happily purchase again and just need to pace myself! The two servings per can are easy to eat all at once!

Amazing and delicious! If you like tuna and other fishy flavors, you will like the taste. The texture is very soft and spreadable as it is liver. My husband and I ate it with organic crackers and a little tabasco sauce. It taste like eating a delicacy to us! Bonus that it is so absolutely nutritious.
