Is there a noticable difference in power with this brushless saw vs the original model with brushed motor? I'm wondering if its worth upgrading.

A brushless motor is more powerful, efficient and longer lasting. No maintenance, replacing the brushes.

If your left handed can you use this saw?, does Dewalt make one you can use if you are left handed?

You can still use this if your left handed, this is a “blade left” saw being that the blade is on the left side of the motor. If your looking for a “blade right” saw check out the dcs573. Dewalt dosent make a blade right 6 1/2 inch circular saw that I know of. Hope this helps

Does it cut trex/composite deck boards?

I have cut a lot of things with my saw, but not deck boards. However, my experience with composite lumber is that it is soft and easily cut. Also, given the correct blade, the saw should be able to cut pretty much anything.

Why wont my saw spin, all i hear is a click even with compatible battery (20 v).is there a saftey feature that im not aware of?
