Perfect from kitchen to bath and beyond
I love to make my own foam soap, face wash, shower gel, etc from this. I like that the ingredients are limited and mostly naturals (compared to store boughten items). It smells so fresh. You can so many things from this one bottle and it's easy to use and find recipes for. Perfect effectiveness. I love Dr Bronner's brand and trust them.

A useful and cost-effective product.
I ordered this Citrus Liquid Soap having used up my supply of Dr Bronner's in my foam hand soap dispenser. Have been using the 'unscented' but wanted something that would have a clean, non-intrusive scent and believe the citrus will accomplish that goal. Have used several Dr Bronner's products and have found the castile soap to be a product worth having on hand for all of its possibilities.

Daily!
Part of my daily routine. Also keep in a hand dispenser and bathrooms and kitchen. The lavender scent is not overpowering. I use with a loofah in the shower to foam it up before using. Or you will end up using too much soap. Foam it between your hands because a little bit goes a long way. Definitely more go-to.I had no idea until after first use what a wonderful clean feeling, I got from the soap. I even use it a little bit on my face and I have sensitive skin. Definitely makes me feel as though it’s giving a really good cleanse.

Bonner's soap(s) are a good travel and outdoors choice.
I like the Lemon scent of the Bonner's soap. Works well on hands and face. Fairly heavy duty bottle that can be taken where it is needed. Bottle is refillable and recyclable. I've been using Bonner soaps especially outdoors for years and never been disappointed.

Tested it across 5 categories — it wins 3, ties 1, loses 1
I finally caved after years of hearing about this stuff and bought the gallon refill. Rather than dip a toe in, I decanted it into amber bottles and swapped out five different products in my house at once: dish soap, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and laundry detergent. Here's what happened.First, the thing nobody tells you clearly enough: this is a concentrate. If you use it straight from the jug you will hate it, waste it, and wonder what the fuss is about. Every use case below is a dilution. The ratios I landed on after some trial and error (soap:water):- Dish soap (1:2). Strongest dilution I use. Cuts grease well, though it produces noticeably less lather than a conventional dish liquid. That's cosmetic, not functional, but it takes a week to stop feeling like something's wrong.- Body wash (1:3). Clear winner. Rinses completely clean with no film, and I don't get that squeaky-tight feeling. Worth noting I don't have dry or sensitive skin. If you do, your mileage may differ.- Hand soap (1:4). Also a winner. Sits by the kitchen sink all day, gets used constantly, no complaints.- Shampoo (1:5). This is where it loses. My hair came out dry and slightly waxy, which I'd read about beforehand and can now confirm firsthand. It's a real chemistry problem: true soap reacts with minerals in hard water and leaves residue, which is why so many people report the wax. An acidic rinse afterward (diluted apple cider vinegar) does help, but I'm not adding a step to my shower for a product that's supposed to simplify things. Not continuing this one.- Laundry (~⅓ cup for a large load). Fine for lightly worn adult clothes. It does not keep up with what my 2- and 4-year-old generate. Ground-in food, mud, and the mystery stains of toddlerhood came out visibly better with a conventional detergent. If your laundry is mostly refreshing lightly-worn clothes, this works. If you're fighting actual dirt, it won't replace your detergent. On the scent: the citrus is genuinely the best part. It smells like actual citrus oil, bright and a little bitter, not the candy-sweet synthetic "orange" of most cleaners. It's also lighter than expected and fades quickly, which I consider a feature.Honestly, it's true that it can do 18 things. That is not the same as being the best option for 18 things. It's excellent for skin, good for dishes, adequate for light laundry, and poor for hair. Buying a gallon expecting to empty your entire cabinet will lead to disappointment; buying it to replace 3 or 4 products is a great decision. Two practical warnings: don't mix it directly with vinegar or lemon juice in the same bottle . . . it curdles into an unusable mess (rinsing after is fine). And skip it on natural stone countertops.I'm buying the gallon again. Just not for my hair.

AMAZING...I have used it for all kinds of stuff...
When I first heard of Dr. Bronner's Castile Liquid Soap... I thought this has got to be too good to be true. But, I did more and more research and decided to try it. Besides, anything that is all natural can't be that bad right? WOW! That is my reaction to this amazing liquid soap. I am an amputee. I have to be extremely careful about the types of soaps and things I use on my liner and my skin. It is inside this silicone liner all day and it leaves my skin raw and very painful sometimes. I used this soon after I got it and it didn't burn the way all the other soaps did. I didn't break out and it took the smell out of my liner. I know that sounds horrible, but if there are any amputees out there, then they know exactly what I am talking about. I also washed my face with it and my prosthetic leg...my hair...the bathroom counter, the rubber foot on my prosthetic leg...the toilet, the floor in the bathroom and the hall...I did the shower...AMAZING!!! All of that and I only used maybe a teaspoon of this stuff!!!! If that...I mean it was two or three drops for my face and I do mean drops....and it was about 4 for the counter. I used more to wash me and the floor. Because this one was citrus, I loved the lemony-orangey smell I got out of it immediately. And when I later smelled my skin, I just smelled soap and water clean...this was hours later.Do yourself a favor....throw out everything you are currently using...buy a bottle of this...at the rate I am using it, I will not even be through with this bottle in a year, maybe two. And I am one of those people who uses too much of everything. I want to be clean and I want everything else to be clean too! I moisturized my skin with sweet almond oil mixed with a little coconut oil...wow! I just can't tell you enough good things about this soap. I am going to try washing my clothing with it next and my dishes...who knows what else...maybe the dog too. I will update in a month and let y'all know how this is going...I am OCD when it comes to clean...so I want to see how much of this I really use in a month's time if it is the only thing I am using. One side note:if you use this to wash your hair, make sure you use a good conditioner after....something with NO silicone or dimethicone in it. It will just make your hair hard to work with...but if you use something without those two things, you will be amazed at how your hair will love you back....I have wavy, red, colored hair...very, very thick. It is always frizzy and dry. I did a hot oil treatment before cleansing with this soap. I used coconut oil and sweet almond oil and a little shea butter. I left that in for a day and then went and washed it that evening. I only used a little sweet almond oil in it when I got out of the shower and I shampooed twice...there is not a lot of lather...amazingly soft and shiny...my hair was gorgeous. I have never gotten so many compliments before...ok. I will update later on this...but right now, I am happy and give two enthusiastic thumbs up. ;)

Washes without residue
As awesome as ever. When I wash with this it leaves no residue on my skin.Only realised recently when visiting my brother and didn't have any with me so I used his body wash.Had to stand in the shower and rinse myself forever and a day to get the stuff off.Been so long since I used regular shower wash that I forgot how sticky it is.Been using this stuff for about 10 years and love it.Also good for handwash, cleaning floor and wiping counters.

Gentle citrus soap with great hydration
Very impressed. The citrus scent is pleasant without being overpowering, and the liquid is thinner than expected—but surprisingly effective. Just a single drop was enough to wash my hands thoroughly. Skin feels soft and hydrated thanks to the natural oils.Highly recommended for its performance and versatility. That said, prices can vary quite a bit depending on the size and seller, so it’s worth shopping around before committing.
