Great quality!!!
Overall I am very happy with my purchase! This is only the 2nd time I've bought fresh beans. They came packaged very nice and airtight. I bought 2 ounces and it was exactly 2.01 ounces when weighed. Opened the bag and the smell was absolutely amazing! They are moist and plump. I recieved 15 beans, most being an average of 6-7 inches and 1 being just under 8 inches. I can not wait to make creme brulee and ice cream with these beans! I will definitely be ordering more from this company and next time I think I am going to try the Madagascar beans. Thank you so much! I'd like to add some pictures but it's not giving me the option to now. :-( maybe I'll be able to go back and add them later.

Very nice, product is fresh and fragrant!!
Love these! Ordered both these and the Madagascar kind, and I love them both. These have a very strong vanilla aroma emanating from the vacuum sealed package. That in itself says a lot. I used them to flavor icecream the first time, left beans and cut pods in the milk/cream to infuse flavor. I also use one for cookies, then put the leftover split pod in a jar with sugar, so the sugar will be infused. I am planning to make my own vanilla extract with some. Btw, Tahitian and Madagascar are very different vanillas. If youโre curious, buy both, youโll be surprised! They are fairly priced, shipped properly and arrived promptly in vacuum sealed baggie. I placed the cut bag (tied up) in a glass jar with tight seal so they will continue to stay fresh, as Iโm not going to use these that fast.

Go with Grade B
This is my third time making Tahitian Vanilla Extract from the beans. The first two times I used grade b beans, this time I purchased grade a. Although they are much more pleasant to work with (they are plump and pliable kind of like a raisin, vs dry, hard, brittle, and very thin and difficult to slit open), however you are paying for that convenience. At ~$200/lb. at the time I purchased them, I probably paid $50 for a quarter pound of water. I yielded 9 half wind bottles with a pound of beans. It's been a few years since I was able to afford the beans (the last time I bought them, the vodka was the expensive part), but the last time I made vanilla I yielded 12 half wine bottles and an additional 1.75L vodka bottle full of double strength vanilla. And after a month, they weren't quite ready, but it was pretty dark, and I could tell I would be handing it out to all of my friends at the end of two months. Right now I'm a month in and it is far from ready, and I don't think at this point it will ever reach the point i would consider 'double strength.' I don't blame the company, they are definitely Tahitian vanilla beans, just don't be enticed by the fancy 'grade a' title. If you are making the magic sauce, get the grade b.

Yes yes yes. Plump. Quality.
Okay. I was skeptical. When they came without the suction of the vac seal. I was concerned. I emailed them and within the day (the weekend mind you) they responded. They were open and helpful. The beans were good and man, they are juicy, large, and amazing for extracts. I bought another tahitian bean 4oz from Etsy and they were dry and half the size of these. The one on the right is this product. The one on the left is the other product.

Amazing beans
Just look at the size of that bean. (These are from the same package, the smaller one is also fat and full, this would be an five-star review even if the giant bean (turns out there were three that big out of 10.) When I cut the end off, the caviar started oozing out of the bean like toothpaste. The pods were not very fibrous and split easily. I can usually store 10 beans in one glass tube. I needed three for this order. Not every crop of beans is consistent, weather can affect a lot of things, and I know I may not see super-sized beans all the time. But I have ordered from the company twice now and both times my expectations were exceeded. The price, which also fluctuates due to market demands, was better or the same as competitors, and I doubt they all had beans like this.

Perfecto
I wish I can write such nice review for every vanilla bean I buy. Very pleased. I received fresh, plump, juicy and fragrant-full vanilla beans. Because of the plumpness of the pods, I had no difficulty removing the caviar for baking some desserts. I could still smell the nice vanilla fragrance on my fingers even after a thorough hand wash.1 pod was about 8โ, 4 were a little over 7โ: 3 were ~6.5โ and 5 were a little over 6โ. The 12 beans altogether weighed 53grams Summary: Excellent vanilla beans and Iโll come back for more. I definitely recommend it.
