Battery eventually goes out if you leave it on constantly. I guess you’re not supposed to leave it on constantly ha ha but they do give you extra batteries, which is really cool. I use them at night to remember to write down my calories in the middle of the night. Writes well.

This really helps me out at work when I do quality checks and paperwork. I also like the recreational aspect. It's a good book light and good for writing in a jurnal at night. However, I do not like the clip. It is too tight and a struggle to clip it to certain things.

Battery life not that long if used on a regular basis. Wish that the ink flow was better. Some issues when twisting the pen to retract the cartridge or to extend it for writing.Update 5/29/24I was extremely pleased that the company understood and listened to my concerns. I was offered replacement pens and batteries for the ones that didn't function properly. I received new pens and I am pleased with the pens and the wonderful customer service. I recommend these pens. The pens are great for night writing, or dim light which I do a lot of for my line of work. I will definitely purchase more in the future.Thanks.

The pen itself is wonderful, and so is the service. I love the red color light because it does not disturb anyone else's vision or sleep when I use it. It writes well. It came with extra batteries that were beyond my expectation in number.The only thing is that when I got my first box of two Glowseen pens, like others have reported, one of the pens did not work. However, when I contacted them about this problem, they sent out another box right away. That replacement box had two pens and extra batteries also, not just a replacement pen. Therefore I seem to have gotten three pens for the price of two, plus a load of extra batteries.But it is a puzzle as to why so many people receive a box that has "one bad pen" in it from the beginning. That is the only reason for my four stars rather than five. And I will say, the pens seem to be continuing to work well - no more duds. Because I have been slow in writing this review, I have had the chance to use the pens for quite a while, and they continue to be reliable and write well.Thank you to Glowseen for the great service! I would not hesitate to buy this product again, but if I were giving it as a gift or needed it in a timely manner, I'd just make sure I had time to get the replacement since it has been reported that sometimes one won't work and I shared that same experience.

These pens are awesome! They come in a shiny resealable package and you’ll need to hang onto that because they give you 4 refills and an extra set of batteries. Each pen takes 3 button type batteries and they’re already in the pens. So the extra 3 they give you will refill one pen. Hubby says those 3 batteries are around $13 for the 3 so it’s nice to have that refill.Please!! Read the directions before you tear it open and start trying to write. There’s a little safety rubber ring where you take the “click” part of the pen off and you’ll need to remove that before you can start writing. It’s there so the pen doesn’t accidentally get turned on and use up the batteries. Bought these for my niece as she starts her Freshman Year at the University of Alabama and she loves them!! I was so impressed when unpacking the set since enclosed were ink refills, batteries to replace in the pen first needing it and the type/size required is a standard size easily bought here on Amazon in qty for a couple bucks. Along with these unexpected freebees is the best instructions and customer relations slip. The pens work perfectly for my expectations since I bought them to take down quick notes after lights out where I scribble at best what it is Im trying to jot but don't wanna turn on light to disrupt my settled/sleepy feeling. The pen writes smoothly and it is well made in general--not at all the typical import junk. They go out of their way to be available to you so any needed help or issues get addressed/corrected which is a breath of fresh air from the typical -your own your own and good luck nothingness that comes with what is made as disposable items. These are in no way disposable but instead made to last. I am very impressed and also pleased I can now jot a quick note in the dark and it be legible in the am and not a struggle to try and jot blind in the darkness.....the light is just right to see what I am doing.

I was excited to get these pens so I could write on my journal at night. Sadly, it fell apart the first time I went to use it. It also falls apart when writing. These pens are terrible.
