KEEN Utility Men's San Jose 6" Soft Toe Waterproof Wedge Work Boots

My choice of work boot in the past was between Irish Setters or Redwings. I found that the IS’s had very soft sole material and would wear out fast, needing to be resoled, if possible. The redwings had better soles, however my experience was the leather would wear out, resulting with inability to resole. Both are very good boots, and reliable for nearly a year. However, 3 years ago I needed new boots on the quick and funds were tight. That’s when I stumbled upon Keens work boot. They are visually appealing and very similar to previously mention boots. The difference was obvious in the price, being approximately $30-50 cheaper. My first pair lasted almost a year and half before the soles began to really break down. They broke in quickly, and haven’t looked back. These boots are reliable, less expensive, and definitely worth every dollar spent, which is less common nowadays in Bidenomics!! They will stay together after crack filled nights painting for foreign investors, or while keeping company with high price escorts!! If you’re not untouchable from law enforcement or the IRS, they will equally hold up amazingly while working in the trades, and foolishly playing by the rules. Keen Boots, versatile, affordable, and reliable.

These are tough, sturdy, and heavy boots. Some reviews remarked that they "feel like sneakers" but that's not true. If they did, they wouldn't be great boots! Cons: The soles are a bit too stiff and rigid, but I've only worn these for a few hours and I am assuming they will eventually become more flexible. Not much padding on the insides, they feel rough without thick socks. Not a big deal to me, but at first they felt like having wooden boards strapped to my feet. The laces that they came with weren't long enough to lace all the way up, so I bought longer ones. Pros: waterproof, rugged, warm in colder temps. Pretty much everything a boot like this should be. I got a wide size and it feels great. The toe, despite just being leather, is still pretty hard and rigid, offering decent protection. I could easily see wearing these in rain and snow. Good boots. Get them!

I love the boot and the comfortability of it and the fact that it has a black bottom on it soft white soul, but the black lamination bottom part is coming off after a short period. This is my second pair in the first pair. I just cut it off After it was flapping. The second pair I bought after less than a month it was delaminating, and I took it to a boot repair shop who had to hand so the two back together and glued it there stitch didn’t hold because it wasn’t indented into the soul. It was a surface stitch. I bought them in June and had to repair it in July and now it’s October and I have to get a new pair of boots are getting repaired again. Very frustrating!!!!

Decided to try these out after several positive reviews. Very comfy and roomy for working in the yard and or working on the house. I like the attached tongue on the sides which keeps out dirt and debris. Seem very well made and have held up well since I’ve been using them.

Just received the boots. Boots are as described and fit as described. Good looking quality, comfortable boot. One area of concern is the length of the lace. If you are using every loop hole, this leaves you very little length to tie the lace.

These are absolutely great boots! Like others reviews have mentioned, before you break in the boots, the cuff around ankle is pretty uncomfortable for maybe a few days but after you have worn them for a short period they are super comfortable. These boots are much lighter than other ones that I have had which makes them great for working outside or at work in a warehouse. My only issue at all is that working in a freezer at times it does not have the best grip in the world (especially on a warehouse floor with any ice ha ha). But what the grip lacks the comfort makes up for and while I have beat them up, I think that’s to be expected for any average boot. Overall very good buy! Would buy again if I need a new pair

Husband owned a pair of these for 20 years and had them resoled countless times before they finally gave out. They are well worth the investment, great quality, are accurate on sizing and aren't clunky to walk around in. Quality leather will probably last him another 20 years.

Comfort: 3/5 stars I rate due to its comfort and Flexibility. I appreciate that the toe box is wide enough to allow the toes to splay as much as possible however despite its pliability the boots do not hold up to standard work environment's, most notably the bottom soles. Having read prior reviews regarding the poor craftsmanship of the soles I still decided to take my chances and purchase 2 pairs because I thought the risk/reward would be worth the comfort however, after consistent wear, the soles have begun to literally peal off on all 4 shoes (of course some more than others) within 2 months. My Mistake for being for disregarding the prior reviews. I won’t be making that mistake again. Keen I appreciate your design and modern comfort but the soles just don’t hold up. More specifically, its actually the adhesive that don’t keep the soles intact! If keen can fix this issue the boots would be a nearly perfect wear without adding too much cost for a simple solution of a more durable and dependable adhesive.

Son mis primeras botas keen y estoy muy satisfecho con la comodidad, materiales, construccion. Son para trabajo medio asi que tampoco son tan rudas. Muy buenas botas.

new pair of boots, however what I received was NOT as advertised. I will let the pictures do the talking. They didn’t not meet my standards or expectations…soles were excessively scuffed and worn, leather cracked and in some areas had mud/dirt on the boots.
